We won't win a SB on the back of our D alone. We aren't the 2001 Ravens. We need some sort of contribution from the passing game if we are to contend. There is zero evidence that Alex can provide this. His ceiling is clear after 8 years. I'd much rather roll the dice on the future and allow our QB to get the necessary experience in the meantime. Sitting a high draft pick for two straight years to allow a game manager to keep the reigns makes no sense.
There is no chance we win the SB with Kaep this year, none.
Kaep has a bro future, his talent is through the roof, it's just not his time. You don't experiment with the QB position when your QB is top 5 in passer rating and was a fumble away from the SB the previous year
I'm all for Kaep as our future QB, I see why he will be that guy, he's just not there yet.
Ill take the gem managing veteran over the first year dynamic player
?there have been game managing QBs who won the SB, there haven't been many 2nd year starters with less than 10 starts to win it
