We won't win a SB on the back of our D alone. We aren't the 2001 Ravens. We need some sort of contribution from the passing game if we are to contend. There is zero evidence that Alex can provide this. His ceiling is clear after 8 years. I'd much rather roll the dice on the future and allow our QB to get the necessary experience in the meantime. Sitting a high draft pick for two straight years to allow a game manager to keep the reigns makes no sense.

There is no chance we win the SB with Kaep this year, none.

Kaep has a bro future, his talent is through the roof, it's just not his time. You don't experiment with the QB position when your QB is top 5 in passer rating and was a fumble away from the SB the previous year

I'm all for Kaep as our future QB, I see why he will be that guy, he's just not there yet.

Ill take the gem managing veteran over the first year dynamic player

?there have been game managing QBs who won the SB, there haven't been many 2nd year starters with less than 10 starts to win it

So stick with a first year starter with at most 7 career starts going into the playoffs with a potential SB team

Kaeps just not ready, his best game was Chicago and his push has declined each week since

At this point, yes, if Harbaugh brings back Alex now, he looks like an of the moment coach who makes snap decisions. I agree it was too early to start Kaep but he made that call and we have to live by it. I said the moment he made this call that I've tempered my expectations in terms of us making the Super Bowl this year but that we will have a better QB in the long run, but yea, we can't bench him now.

I can't wait till Alex is somewhere else so you can go root for that team.

If the refs make the right call on that safety or Akers makes a kick, we're not having this discussion. Alex's hide has been saved by Akers several times already.

But he admitted to being of the moment, that was his whole reasoning behind Ksep paying

Were going with Kaep he's got the hot hand, that was his justification. He also said it wasn't a permanent change, so he's come out and used of the moment as his reasoning, why be scared to be called on such a thing

In all objectiveness Jeff Fisher has made the Rams a team that's a few draft picks from being good again. Here's to a healthy rivalry.

Yea, but I don't know if I want a QB that's looking over his shoulder for the rest of the season. Let's win or lose with Kaep now, now that he's seen some struggle, let's see how he responds.

If it doesn't get better. We can't just protect the kids psyche and in turn risk the teams success.

I see the talent, I love what he will bring to this team, he's got franchise QB potential

Just don't want these growing pains coming in January

Was at my pop's crib so I couldn't post in here, but gotdamn. Proud of my Rams.

Much better than our record indicates.

:scusthov: @ Jenkins getting sonned all day. If it wasn't for that td, he'd be damn near solely responsible if the Rams lost.

Alex played much worse against the giants earlier this season. I thought kaep had us in position to win this game twice, even after the fumble to ginn. Truthfully tho, who expected us to win every game? Not to mention the rams always play like fukkin juggernauts when they play us.

So now were gonna lower the bar, who expected us to beat the Rams?

Please don't compare the Giants to the Rams, shyt is silly.

Problem today is the Rams didn't play like Juggernauts they had zero offensive points for about 59 mins and 55 seconds
