:manny:Puff was behind way too many classic projects in the 90's, to front on his impact.

Dude brought a lot of iconic work to the table, in both R&B and Hip-Hop. He was also signing a lot of future legends left and right. From Jodeci forward, his work for that early run was undeniable. My Life isn't the album it is today without Puff. He brought us B.I.G. when nobody else would sign him, LOX, Faith, Black Rob, G-Dep, Shyne, Usher, Ma$e, mad producers, and various remixes and projects in the 90's that helped Hip Hop and R&B to skyrocket in ways nobody could've done before.

So we can't deny that dude's contributions. He's a weirdo and his run is mad over, but what he did for the game back in the day was monumental.

Co Sign this.

The man is a demon but he knows his music for sure

Never really cared for him as a personality and definitely never as a rapper :scust:

Never "hated" him either....just always indifferent.

Ready to Die and Carl Thomas first album are classics to me tho.

But what's wrong with not being a fan of someone's music, simply because you weren't a fan of their music. It doesn't negate their mainstream run, or his impact. It just means their music was never something someone vibed with. There's plenty like that.

I hated their whole sound. I can probably list all of the Bad Boy hip-hop tracks I liked off memory. Outside of Ready to Die, Flava in Ya Ear remix, there aren't that many. A song getting major airplay on radio and videos didn't change that. In fact, I usually turned whenever their songs came on, and by '97 I had completely tuned out the radio.

Nothings wrong with that.
But admitting that you like Ready to Die would show some Diddy fandom :manny:

Diddy made Bad Boy. People loved Biggie so they had no choice. If it wasn't for Biggie, this dude wouldn't have been as big.

:stopitslime::mjlol:
Hahahaha let’s not lie like that.

Puff is responsible for half of Mary Js what’s the 411 and My life which are certified classics

It’s arguable without Puff Big wouldn’t be the person he was.

Don’t get me started on his ear for just finding hits

All these Artists under badboy would have made great music without him he is just a financier
thats a lie. Dudes like g dep and black rob would just be random ass unknown/local NY artists, total and 112 likely never exist…112 possibly could’ve gotten on with JD, but total definitely wouldn’t have been a thing. Carl thomas and faith evans would’ve spent their careers as background singers

The crazy thing is nobody has proven anything said about puffy people just believe it.
Yeah, I'm trying to keep an open mind.
It looks like he was into some freaky stuff, but as long as people were of age and participated willingly it's none of my business.
