I like the idea of these new rogue like games really pushing the concept of dying and coming back. The genre has so much room for new ideas and concepts out of die, start over from beginning but pick this weapon you unlocked up.

Like others said, I think Stage 2 is a skill gate like the 3rd Biome in Returnal was. Many will give up there, but if you push through you have the skills to keep going all the way

I bought this game this morning, but didn't see the option to download it so its ready for tomorrow
also, the PSN app says its available 2/6, but we all know it doesn't drop til 2/8.
deluxe version was available to download/play yesterday for $5 more (PS+ discount)…seems like you accidentally bought the standard version
interesting…I think this is easier than returnal so far
I think it depends, this game requires some strict timing from multiple enemies and awareness as well as some inputs, where as returnal was more about avoiding and keeping a distance a lot of the time while shooting.
But yeah I agree, at the same time I love beat em ups and close combat action so even if it isn't easier it more enjoyable off the rip

@The Mad Titan has a fair point tho…I might be looking at it as “easier” bcuz I’m enjoying it a lot…as much as I liked returnal, I’m digging this game a lot more…this is one of those “sleepless nights” games for me lol…only reason I stopped playing around 2:30 this morning when I finally took a break is bcuz I was starting to play sloppy and making silly mistakes which meant it was time to give it a rest and come back with a fresh start
