Though I agree 90's Crash TV doesn't need to come back (nor could they even evoke that same emotion in 2018), but let's not forget some of the things Ruthless Aggression brought us

They need to borrow from game of thrones and soprano type shows.... Have factions, backstabbing, plotting, making moves, twists, turns, realistic motives, set ups, betrayals, alliances, compelling dialogue, Easter eggs, long story archs..... shyt is not that hard

They're a TV show, but don't want to be a TV show. They think being a live show, they don't have to follow the TV show format of constructing coherent beginning middle or end.

The reason the attitude era was huge wasn't because of edgy storylines. It was because of stars.

Austin and Rock were captivating stars. If Austin didn't catch fire, then they'd have probably have went out of business. They were doing edgy shyt in 97 and getting killed by WCW. It was Austin and his feud with McMahon that captured everyone's imagination.

The structure of the company is now set up to specifically not create real stars. So they can bring back bra and panties matches, blading, porn star gimmicks and all that other bullshyt, and it won't make a difference, because they have no real stars. Stars is what has driven this business since day 1, but they seem to think they can do better without them.
