Would he? Kobe might just as easily retire if the Lakers even thought of trading him. But since he wasn't the issue this subject is irrelevant. Fact is, Kobe is the main draw for the Lakers so getting rid of him would fukk the money up and the city wouldn't go for it.

Lol. That's like the Yankees trading Jeter.

Kobe is still a top 5 player, they just need to change up the team.

However i thought Kobe would go back to his God mode 08-10 playoff status, but he's clearly on the downside.

$60 mil over the next 2 years. :childplease:

Badly whupped in the conference semis the last 2 years. :childplease:

There's some young talent out there. I worry about them building around a 34 year old 17 year vet who takes up half the salary cap.

Kobe stans... have at it!

:heh::russ: And ride the coattails of Bynum, Pau, and Sessions to the championship :deadrose:

The amount of salary they pay Kobe is more than offset by the money he brings in with tickets, tv and merchandising. I don't think too many people are going to drop $500 to watch Artest dribble off his feet on a breakaway or Ramon Sessions brick wide open jumpers.

even if you could trade Kobe no one can give them decent value. Because no one is trading a top 10 player for him none the less 2 top 50 players.

The best bet for the Lakers is to move Bynum. They can get more talent for Bynum.

Wrong he failed because bynum and gasol are too weak to help him. Bynum is a weak minded bytch who already took a vacation in the playoffs when he got bodied by mcgee and perkins.

Gasol is the tinman who passes up opportunity to win the games when kobe passes him the ball.

I love how Laker morons casually forget that if it wasn't for Pau, Kobe would be stuck with 4 rings and a Finals-choking 6 for 24 performance.

Kobe isn't the problem. He was a litle inconsistent but the team came up short more than ever. Gasol are very very weak in the playoffs and Artest wasn't all that much better. Bynum is OVERRATED as fukk.
