You know you can take a few classes (without being enrolled in a program) to get your GPA up to be admitted into a program? Also, regional community colleges don't charges as much, usually there's 3 classifications for prices (in-county, out-of-county..but in the state, then out of state), so out of county students don't have to pay as much per hour as out of state students. So apply to other schools.

Why the Army? I was recruited (decided not to join) the Navy. If I would've gone it would have been Navy or AF.

There are other branches of the military you can look into also. The army is just one. But how did you fail to get into community college? shyt, you may not be able to get in the army if you can't into a community college.
