you can't be soft, people are wolves outchea. no one will sympathise with you in the real world, they only care about what you have to offer.

Nobody cares about you at all, so you have to care about you.

sounds like your mother sheltered you from the world but you have to realise she won't be there for you forever and it's your life not hers.

so ask yourself breh, do you want to live a meaningless life? or do you want to make something of yourself?

your greatest enemy is yourself. conquer your mind & you can do anything

so if everything is true what you said and the world is really like this the message in this video is correct?

Yeas, my mom def. sheltered me. She is 60 years old and yeah I know she won't be there forever.

I don't want to live a meaningless life and want to make something of myself.

How can I conquer my mind?

Do you all think I should join the airforce? What would be the pros and cons of me doing it?

My situation currently:

I'm 30 years old and live with my mother. She financially takes care of me. I am unemployed/broke and only have 30 dollars in my savings account. I spend all money I ever get from my mom on junk food because I am addicted to junk food. I am obese at 275 pounds. I am not in shape and have no stamina. I'm weak and can't lift that much weight.

I have a two year degree/Associate's of Applied Science in Business Management I got this past December. I also have 60,000 in student loan debt. I have 60,000 in student loan debt because I went to a 4 year university earlier and was lazy/didn't apply myself. I was put on academic suspension from the 4 year university and went to the two year university to get my Associate's of Applied Science in Business Management.

I am unemployed and have been applying/looking for jobs since I graduated this December.

Also I am timid, have bad social anxiety, low confidence.

After reading through all of this should I join the airforce? I want to be financially successful and wealthy one day. Is the airforce something that will help me be financially successful?
Didn't someone else post this exact same thread before?

you've got to WANT to change breh, you've got to develop a hunger for success and that comes from a realisation that you're in a shytty place right now.

your struggles should light a flame inside you to succeed

I recommend this audiobook, listen to it before sleep. It teaches you how to manoeuvre in society:

also research the law of attraction which talks about the metaphysics of manifesting your success into reality, aka if you think and visualise your success, it will happen.

The law of attraction changes your state of mind and gets you into gear for success

you have to set out definitive goals for yourself, write them down & then visualise them.

Plan everything and stick to it breh

in terms of dieting, that's pure will power breh & changing how you think will contribute to it.

this marks the start of your journey to being successful:salute:

Get a lifecoach breh. That's what I plan to do when I move to Boston. They can help you. I went through something similar 21 and worked low paying gigs. I'm only unemployed now because I gotta take care of my moms. However, I'm going downtown to help me keep busy through October. Hey, I like workin :manny:

I think 30 is the cutoff for the Airforce

If you want to stay in civilian life, try getting a job through a staffing agency. Get some discipline back in your life. Save some money.

Try and move up the ranks. You having a degree already gives you an edge.

And use the internet for your own good! Often we forget that there is more on here than porn and sports:sadcam:

Use indeed, monster, etc and look for internships/assistant jobs that pertain to your degree.

And look for support online. There's a lot of us that suffer from depression. There are lots of resources that are available online to help combat depression.

And stay motivated! You already made the first step by asking for advice and help! Just keep moving forward even a little bit at a time. Good luck breh:blessed:

The coli is a free life coach. Not a really good one. But, it is free nonetheless.

You're too old for the Air Force breh. I'd look into the Navy first and lastly the Army. That all depends on if you can get in shape though.

:what: :snoop:

WASHINGTON —

"Thanks to a new Air Force policy announced Tuesday, enlisted recruits can now experience the joys of basic training in their late 30s.

The Air Force raised the maximum age for enlisted accession from 27 to 39, meaning it may now be the best choice for those who feel the call to military service later in life.

The maximum age for Army enlisted recruits is 35, while the Navy and Marines cap recruit ages at 34 and 28, respectively.

Under federal law, the oldest recruit any military branch can enlist is 42, although each service sets its own policy within that limit."

He's 30, overweight and thinking about joining. Technically yes he is not past the age limit. No recruiter in the world is going to get him in over a recent high school grad.

The Air Force would be a great place to help get your life in order, especially considering your educational background. However @ an unhealthy 275lbs, you're are going really need to motivate & discipline yourself first to diet, lose weight & get in shape which will also assist in eliminating many of your negative/mental behavioristic traits.
