I mean yeah he could. If he’s willing to pay $200-300 over retail price for a console. maybe money ain’t that a big a deal.
Really just depends on how much he games honestly. If your spending 10+ hours a week gaming, a PC is worth it.
If your the type who’s fine mainly gaming on a big ass tv, get a console

personally, I recommend the digital version (I gave my disc version to my daughter). at first I wanted the disc, but the digital is cheaper, and I'm buying everything digital anyways. take that extra $100 and invest it in storage.

PCs are plug and play, you can play on TV you don't need a computer monitor, LG OLEDS are made to be used as PC gaming monitors, consoles can't even utilize all the features of the TVs

I got my Sony invite in a couple of weeks , after missing the first invite in May cause the email went to my spam
They sent me the email yesterday for the event today
It's funny cause now i'm wondering do I even want the shyt, my backlog on ps4 is crazy
But it's probably worth it just to finally migrate to next-gen sports games
I went on the site and saw they sell skins for $60 and the extra controller is like $70
I might just cop the system to have it and let it sit for a while and gradually transition while I work on my ps4 backlog and download any new free content from PS plus for the ps5

Yeah I know u can. I just feel like MOST people that use PC would rather on a monitor. If u play in on tv, more than likely you don’t care about i input delay and frames for the most part. Gaming on a monitor is a lot better than on a TV imo

I put a TB SSD in my PS4 so I might still need to wait until I get a SSD for the ps5 so I can port the whole library over
