Should boys start school a year later than girls because of developmental differences?

Will boys benefit from 1 year delay in academic education?

You may say their ass backwards but they seem pretty content with their lives if they have little contact with the trappings of our modern world function and view, but I made my point based on how I’d personally raise my own kids, I hated every school I went to but one and I absolutely hated being away from my family, I thoroughly enjoyed learning at home because I didn’t care to socialize in a school setting, I had a much more enjoyable time at camps than I did school, but that’s just me
And that’s fine. But in your previous post you said that most kids would prefer to learn at home instead of school and I don’t believe that to be the case.

. I don't think it's beneficial for a young boy to be surrounded by only men for an extended period of time, or for a young girl only women.

Disagree on this. An all boys school would be hugely beneficial to adolescent development. You’d only need it from pre school to the 6th grade.

Boys to attend school 1 year later than girls because of brain development differences in the pre frontal cortex in decision making, delayed gratification etc. So starting a year later would mean that they would be more on par with the girls in the classroom.

This sounds unconstitutional. Equal protection clause of the 14th amendment would be triggered in court if this were ever implemented. Title 9 statutes may be called also

I think its doable if both genders were delayed the extra year.

What about single sex schools? That way the children can be taught at their natural development level.

Do you think that delaying them both would level the playing field? What about social aspects, women are more social by nature and are more likely to follow rules, they may still have an advantage when school starts.

Young boys do perfectly well at that age academically, they just have a TON of energy to burn. They aren't going to be completely still little church mice. You have to make sure they get enough time with hands on activities and recess.

Girls may behave better, but girls are naturally more interested in people, while boys are more interested in things.

Separate boys and girls schools would accomplish more.

And Black America needs to embrace boarding schools like Africa.

It’s clear that environmental problems hold a lot of black kids back from learning, they need to be removed from those environments.

Nobody wants to accept the reality that sometimes somebody else can raise and teach your kids better than you can.
