This guy is advocating for more male teachers are needed in schools. This would help boys have more male role models, and more teachers that relate to them.
Boys to attend school 1 year later than girls because of brain development differences in the pre frontal cortex in decision making, delayed gratification etc. So starting a year later would mean that they would be more on par with the girls in the classroom.
More investment in vocational studies, this would go back to woodshop and home economics.
Do they still have these classes in school?
What about all boys vs all girls schools?
In alot of developing countries the schools are separated by Gender and the educational disparities don’t seem as large. Plenty engineers doctors etc come from developing countries with segregated education.
Vocational studies are bigger in these country’s because of the need to bolster the work force, therefore make morale is higher because the pecking order is in check, men’s duties are more clear, less blurring the lines.
It would seem that first world countries have outpaced human development causing these men vs women debates. When the intrinsic need for the structure of male roles vs female roles is still needed.
