Brook won going away 8-4 or 9-3 is cool with me. Khan/Brook for UK bragging rights would be dope. Porter needs to go back to the drawing board he got somewhat exposed tonight. Still wouldn't mind a Thurman/Porter fight down the road. Where was Paulie tonight?
Team Porter must of had a issue with, or maybe showtime knew Paulie would of had the :shaq2: hating all night...................I would of enjoyed Paulie's hate last night

I kept telling yall gassing Porter up the kid is too raw and that he needs more fights against quality opponents...

Kell Brook didn't even do anything special last night, it was textbook boxing...Brook fought tall behind his jab, used his cross and tied up Porter every time he got too close...Porter kept trying to bob and weave his way inside but he had no answer for that stiff jab and right cross...little man struggled mightily to put together some effective punching...

It takes a tough fighter to stand tall and deliver sharp shots down the middle in the midst of the wrestling, headbutts, elbows and arm flailing, even a Devon couldn't do that

^^^Thats what Im saying.. Brook stayed strong and didn't allow Porter to bully him the entire 12 rounds..
@The Fukin Prophecy I really dont see any other top WWs who could withstand that barrage of attacks while remaining that poised and focused for 12 rounds.. Not even Floyd..... Brook deserves more credit... Fight reminded me of Pac/Bradley 2

Porter is still a tough match due to his dirtiness, I still feel he spark Thurman, the problem is he's ugly as fukk as a fighter, he's gonna have a hard time getting matches...............

I would love to see Porter Bradley but networks.............Who knows what the future holds though............

I agree with this completely. Porter, and a lot of these kids are raw. He is only 25. He is a pretty good fighter, his skills just arent sharp enough and he doesnt really have the necessary experience to be considered a REAL champion. Neither does Brook really. Brook is ok, but not "special". I always had that view about him....but he is a fighter that cruises. I'd definitely favor Khan over Brook, yet I'd favor Porter over Khan. All of these guys are at the same level. After Floyd, its pretty much parity. In some ways, Porter fights like Aaron Pryor, but obviously not as skilled. Porter fans, dont give up. He seems like he has a good head on his shoulders. If he continues to work and improve he can be in the game a long time and come back stronger. At this point he really just has a lot of room to grow.

Porter/Bradley would be great fight I believe given the styles. I am not going to say everybody beats Porter, he is a tough fighter. His boxing skill was just a lil too raw for the boxing skill of Brook. Brook is a good boxer, and that worked against Porter, but what else can he do? I favor Khan over Brook, telling you right now.

Thurman is very interesting. He is raw too. None of these guys are ready for the big time to be honest with you. The difference is...Porter had a tough out with that mando. Mando's you cant really duck if you are not a big name. Timing is critical. I think Devon wouldve beaten Brook had they fought. Porter's style matchup was too much for Devon that night though....so thats the way it goes.

Brook had wonderful footwork...that check hook :ohlawd:

Brook is a beautiful boxer. Excellent skills and his focus was there last night. On the other hand, he looks like a guy who fights the same every time out. He likes a certain pace too. Although he is a physically strong guy and good athlete, he doesnt really have great speed or power. He isnt a defensive wiz either, but his footwork was excellent. I think the style of Khan would be too much for him.

Porter will get better, now he knows he simply can't bully WW because he was a SMW, you actually have to punch to win fights, and he have a good lil punch he can recover......................

He beats, Khan and Thurman, he may even beat Brook in a rematch. He loses to Lucas, gets scalped by Swift, and gets a brutal beating by Floyd. I fear for Porter that they may freeze him out the fights because of risk reward and style......

Oh and you slipping breh if you think Khan beats Brook, he too tehnically sharp for those wild slaps, he'll shoot stiff lasers up the middle in the midst of his predictable left right lefts, plus we showed he couldn't be bullied by a dirty brusier in Porter, he have no worries of Khans holding and pushing................

nikka do you read your posts before you hit reply?

Since when has Floyd ever shown an inability to keep his poise in the ring with a flawed wild pressure fighter like Porter? Did you even watch the Maidana fight? You honestly think this lil nikka is going to have one of the most poised defensively sound counter punchers in the history of the sport shook?:what:

Do not ever tag me again if you're going to post dumb shyt like this b...

Build on this:dwillhuh:
You do know Brook is a draw in his own country right??:stopitslime:

I'm pretty sure a homecoming showcase fight against a lower top 10 ranked fighter...does great in UK

The quickest way to Floyd for Brook is a match with Khan I believe.
