No, it's going to end up falling flat and going nowhere like everyone else that they intentionally cool down repeatedly until no one cares when the big moment happens. If it happens at all, which is not looking likely at this point.
it worked for AJ and it just worked for DBRY, Becky, and askua was in that same situation and they are both on fire right now.. if you cool off and cant heat back up its more on you than the booking

can someone explain the logic behind him being a flop.

I didn't pick up until after wrestlemania this year, but from what I saw, he was no worse than anybody else on the main roster.

its like people are holding him to a higher standard than everybody else. like he has to put on classic matches left & right. I havnt seen any memorable matches on raw or smackdown since I started watching again.

Underwhelming. As someone who was very weary of how lazy and inconsistent he can be (and was during his New Japan days), I was stil surprised at how he wasn't able to have great matches on the main roster. He was given enough time and platform to have at least a couple of legit :wow: matches and he never stepped up :francis:

Everyone forgets about this

By not realizing what the narrative character wise and what part the wwf plays in legacy for its performers.
is why the wwf has not drawn with Nakamura.

The WWE still has no idea unless held hostage how to book this company. Past pr and marketing service giving them ad campaigns based on spreadsheet returns.

So the WWE missed out on putting Nakamura over in the best way possible.
that makes sense for the actual Nakamura character as a booked personality. Nakamura's arc should have had him facing and beating lesnar for the universal title at mania after winning the rumble. Not a rehash of the njpw aj vs Nakamura match condensed down to no real quality whatsoever at mania. For anyone who knows and invests into Nakamura and styles as a draw. As far as an inring and psychology based visual. What should have happened is Nakamura should have avenged his youngest hw versus the youngest American hw challenger in njpw title loss to Brock. Instead by shipping Nakamura to SD and the obvious cliche routine with aj. Regardless of the content and match quality. Is why WWE ruined this Nakamura run. People were invested to see the followup encounter of the repackaged king of strong style Nakamura versus the squash style of WWE booked Brock.

When they shipped Nakamura to SD. It just signaled this company was inept. Then just raided Nakamura to try to continue the domestic ideal of big is better. Instead of actual great story telling and psychology of the encounter between two characters with history.

The WWE continues to act oblivious to grapplers and their legacy/history. So it ruins mostly any one who is not an in house WWE talent. As the WWE is trying to bury indie talent. To once again move into inhouse creation of their neutered WWE talent. So they can create this inferior domestic product that is injected into the mainstream lexicon. Like talented and high quality work is not supposed to exist in wrasslin...in favor of bullshyt low brow low quality WWE programming.

After the Indy heros who saved wrasslin are all buried. WWE will go back to their mordecai's, snitsky types. While trying to use the Indy Heros after the storm clears from their raiding and burial. Then use the Indy Heros in neutered WWE agent match making and booking capacity for the future. Where the good of what made the Indy heroes great. Will be regulated into and buried for hhh me smash mouth wrasslin as a whole.
