This episode was a masterpiece. They added filler but it was well written filler(obviously since it was under the watchful eye of Isayama who probably wrote that shyt himself, so well done) and it not only added a greater impact to the finale scene but it also confirmed something that I had suspected from their interaction in the manga(semi spoiler, not really):
Eren and Annie had something up between the two of them, which prevented him from transforming at first. There's an upcoming flashback scene in the manga that hasn't been animated yet which kind of eludes to this.
Mikasa looked like a psychotic when she confronted him about that shyt. When she said "I won't let you have Eren" that meant a lot more than "I won't let you capture him". Wow. :lol They fleshed that out really well.
Next week is the last episode, and they spaced everything out to the point where the ending will be the ultimate mindfukk and the perfect cliffhanger. If you watch this and don't read the manga, I'll wager that you'll cave in to see what happens next because Season 3 of this show may not air until the middle of next year
