Considering how pathetic Isayama has made a lot of soldiers look before they went out, I would say Levi's "death" would have been the best way for him to go out. He went out in the most ass pull way possible.

I got a little lost near the end there. Was the point of Floch saying Ange and Levi are dead to make the reader realize he knew shyt before hand - like, Eren planned that shyt - or was the point to show that Floch is full of shyt and isn't Eren's representative?

Good chapter but it's gonna suck to wait another month to see how things continue to play out. I'm getting a strong feeling that the Titans and some of the Survey Corps are going to oppose Eren.

reiner came over to paradis and committed atrocities, but he realized what he was doing wasn't justified. gabi was about as brainwashed as anyone and changed when she got stuck on paradis.
I think the answer to how this all plays out with eren failing and the way it happens being satisfying is "paths" shenanigans. how do you get the world to understand your experience enough to realize genocide isn't the answer? they have to experience an eldian life. how that happens I don't know, but it's the only satisfactory way I think eren stands down.
he straight up told Ymir what he wanted to do and she is still supporting him, and I think historia is the only person he actually told what he was going to do. Which is why we still haven't seen her perspective, so I don't think the ending is as simple as killing eren in an emotional final showdown.

Finally caught up, one of the best series I've read hands down. kind of wish I waited a year before getting into it though, the wait for the next chapters is going to be torture..
