This thread reminded me I haven’t even beat the game. We’ll time to start over I have no idea what I was doing before I stopped playing 
I’m new to the series with this being my first time playing a mainline SMT title so I can’t tell if it’s better than the previous games but i really do like the fusion of demons and rotation so the combat never gets stale. I just wish this was on a better system.

Switch's performance was a disgrace.
This is often on sale, which is not the norm for Switch exclusives. I know Sega published and not Nintendo but I'm sensing that this didn't sell as much as planned, and performance issues affected the reception.
This game is begging to be played at 4k/60. The story was cool I guess but the gameplay is what sold me. Amazing game and hopefully more get to play it, in a better way

I've only really played SMT4 and this one and neither has grabbed me. (I don't count my playthrough of nocturne because I really only played it for a lil while and then watched an older family member play the rest)

It's not first party that's why it gets such deep sales often, sega does this with all their games nowadays
Definitely agree with this needing to be 60fps tho, some of the drops I'd get playing this were disgusting
