Nas NEVER claimed he was going to be on RD. Jay was a Nas stan at the time and reached out but Nas didn’t want to do it.

Nas wasn’t the one who wanted Mega to sign the deal it was Steve Stoute, and Stoute has said this repeatedly. The Firm, from a business perspective was Steve Stoute’s brainchild. Mega, being fresh from out of jail had the least amount of leverage out of the original foursome (Nas and Foxy were superstars, AZ was coming off a Gold album and Platinum single, Mega had nothing at the time) so Stoute said “sign the deal or your out” Mega decided not to sign and was replaced.

Shan was offering Nas advice. This wasn’t Nas fukking over Shan or disrespecting him. It was Nas being a young knucklehead at the time who wanted to put on his hood and show love, so he rolled with a bunch of QB gangstas. Carmen even wrote in her book that Nas tried to feed the whole hood and was buying chains and watches for everybody, until the jealousy and hate started then he smartened up and cut everyone off.

Nas dissed Prodigy because P dissed Nas on a Cormega song called “Thun and Kicko”. Thats why he was saying “He would say his little slick shyt and act real funny”

He was wrong for dissing Nore and apologized personally to Nore for it. Lake was on some bullshyt (which is documented he’s had issues with his own man’s Mega over being a snake) and Nas didn’t diss him publicly until Lake put out that terrible Why “diss”.

Cam was collateral damage because he was signed to the Roc and Nas was at WAR with the Roc. If you go back and listen to the Power 105 rant he dissed the entire Roc-A-Fella camp, said that Ether had them running like roaches, said that Takeover was garbage, etc.
