Guys like Cormega are the worst. They talk all that principles.. Stand up.. Official etc talk but it's always for their own benefit. He's like a goon version of Dame Dash.

Mega has said numerous times that his loyalty to the street dudes supersedes his loyalty to rap dudes. Now Mega is a hothead, and has always been one, but he does have some love for P, and did "help" P in some circumstances. Mega never really dissed P like that, and has always worked with him - so he has some respect for him. I don't think he's a snake, because he wouldn't last this long if he was a snake, but he does always shows loyalty to his initial team. It's the same with Delorean too. He had love for P, but his street dudes came first. He's never said anything negative about Sherm, Lake, Drawz - any of the Goodfellas crew, Ice. I think throughout all of QB history, Mega & P have reach out the most to everyone.

Geninely surprised to see people express that it paints Mega in a bad light.

Dudes were getting robbed left and right.Money was being paid to chains and pendants back to protect the reputation of the rapper.

Being able to broker the return of the chain was worth something, and maybe Mega was smart enough to get something out of the system for doing it. Maybe a distribution deal, record deal for a group under him, being added to an upcoming tour.

I think Chris Lighty was managing Mobb Deep at the time, and it would have been him that Mega was hustling, not Prodigy.

You don't think that negotiations went on to get Young Buck's chain back when it got cuffed in Chicago?

Mega is articulate and obviously a very smart guy, but make no mistake....he's a wolf. I think the mature way he comes across makes people forget what his background and affiliations are. Prodigy was just some other rapper that he knew, he was raised around and ran with Lakey, Sherm,etc
