The one who called from the prison facility?

Cam's imitation sounds like Black Child's actual voice on that one lol.

My 2 cents:
Hot 97 were bytches for letting Jay do Takeover but not letting Nas do ether.

Nas was really trippin acting like an emotional bytch dissing Nelly, Nore, Flex, Angie all over him not being able to do ether at summer jam.

Cam and Jim completely overreacted though and crossed the line. Shouldn't have talked about Nas' daughter or mom.

Nas should have responded to Cam himself. For that matter Jay should have as well.

Nas had a right to diss Flex and Angie. Angie especially was on Jigga’s dikk during the battle and wasn’t neutral in the slightest in her stanning for Jay. Also Nas was right when he said that nobody at Hot 97 gave two fukks about Jay dropping Super Ugly saying all that shyt about Carmen and his TODDLER daughter, but when he wants to do Ether and effectively destroy Jay onstage now its a problem.

He admitted to being wrong dissing Nelly. He apologized and sent him a shoutout. He also admitted to being wrong about shytting on Nore.

Cam was collateral damage because he was on the Roc and he was at War with jay and effectively everyone on the Roc.

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Listen, I recently had a conversation with mega through IG direct message, and came away with the impression the brother is a descent man. But that's the thing with street dudes, they can be very charming when they want to be. N the shyt kind of unnerves you because that's not what you're expecting. Mega strikes me as a man that sometimes allows his emotions to get the better of him. That might explain some of his previous actions. But my biggest takeaway is, I feel like repairing the relationship with Nasir is important to him. They just don't know how to go about it. Because of egos, old wounds, or whatever.
This current Cormega just seems to have a more relaxed, clearer perspective/outlook. Age also brings about wisdom

I must admit I misjudged some of his recent actions.
But only him truly knows what's in his heart.
What u mean?

“Truly nikkas was fighting over who was closet to me” Rise & Fall-Nas

All this revolves around Nas’s success and him opening up a lane for Mobb Deep,Cormega,CNN,Nature,Tragedy etc

Nas never gets the true credit he deserves because he openly beefed with the same people he helped out. His business sense wasnt the best then. But without him nobody would know these street guys.

He has moved on and doesn’t need them while they still trying to hang on.

Couple things I thought of off one listen to Part 2

  1. Sherm makes one reference to Mega and its a negative one. Has Mega ever spoke on this incident in detail? Giving Mega the benefit of the doubt, it seems odd to me that Lake would want to fight Worm over P, but Mega just wanted to try to finesse the chain into a record deal (how??) or money? Maybe Mega was suggesting that as a way to ultimately just get the chain back to P? Either that or Mega is super grimey and just didn't give a fukk about P at all even though Mobb just put him on their album when he was ice cold (as best I can remember it).
  2. Sherm claims that the cars were valeted and then given to the wrong people. Before I thought the story was that they parked the cars and didn't know what happened to them. To the point P told them that the cars weren't stolen they probably got towed. I need to rewatch the legendary Lake/P interview to see how Lake describes it.

It wasnt that he wanted to do “Ether”. They had a problem with him attempting to do a mock lynching of a black man on in front of a mixed crowd (agewise).

think Sherm was implying Mega wanted to get a deal in exchange for the chain back. Crazy shyt.

I dont have Worm as a liar because he doesnt feel its consequences behind it and even so, he would still stand by it

I dont see Mega, who is aware of these interviews, jumping up to refute this shyt either. But, we'll see

Yeah but he's obviously extraordinarily petty. He ordered a mural desecrated.
I could see something where he's got an issue with Mega so he makes him look as bad as possible while making Lake look like a saint (at least until he decided he was ok with it and they robbed Noyd).

I know that was part of it too. But Dame Dash, whether he was lying or not, said it was HIM who made the call to Hot 97 to make sure that whatever Nas had planned wasn’t allowed to go down. This was literally (according to Nas and other sources) minutes before he was to take the stage. So it wasn’t like Hot 97 suddenly gained a conscious, AFTER i might add again, allowing Jay to drop a song claiming that he left used condoms on Nas’s child’s baby seat. They didn’t want to anger Jay-Z and the Roc-A-Fella cash cow. They picked sides. So Nas did what he felt was right and called them all out on it.

Its not like anything Nas said against Flex, Angie, and Hot 97 was wrong in itself.

I feel that. But ppl tend to leave out that son was gonna hang a dummy black man in front of kids. NORE even said that in his response interview after Nas dissed him that “You cant...hang a black man theres kids in the crowd”. And he and Foxy STILL tried to hold him down and get them to let Nas go on. I think if the lynching wasnt a factor, they wouldve let nas perform...i believe dame probably made a call like “yall not bout to let this nikka lynch my mans”. I think it was more about the antic and less about the actual record

Mobb put themselves on. And Tragedy came out before Nas.

That shyt was crazy and animatronic as fukk. Im glad he didnt end up doing it. shyt wouldve been a SERIOUS stain on his career. Dude’s mom passed and he lost it for a second.

Nobody heard or liked Juvenile Hell or remembers when they were poetic prophets.

Nas blowing up helped them in the same way Biggie helped Jay despite Jay being around longer.

Tragedy khadafi is so unknown that Pac viewed La La as a Mobb Deep song.

He is Blaq Poet level abstract.
