Sony need to send in the re-inforcements and get this shyt up to par...they can't do my Shenmue like this:mjcry:

Looks fine, besides the facial animations.

I don't particularly care about this game though as I never got a chance to play 1 and 2. Hopefully we get a re-release of both.

In case y'all forgot, it's still alive.

Still looks ways away tho and those facial animations (or lack there of):hhh:.

Im expecting it to release on Trumps re-election.

:picard:

Environments look good but models and animation need some serious work

Yakuza 0

The glitz, glamour, and unbridled decadence of the 80s are back in Yakuza 0. A prequel to the long-running series set in Japan's criminal underworld, this entry introduces mainstay protagonist Kazuma Kiryu and series regular Goro Majima as they fight like hell through Tokyo and Osaka in their climb through the yakuza ranks. Along the way, players can interact with all the vices 1988's Japan had to offer: from discos and hostess clubs to classic SEGA arcades, there are tons of distractions to pursue in the richly detailed, neon-lit world. At its heart, Yakuza 0 is a classic 3D brawler, where players roaming the streets of Tokyo or Osaka will encounter all manners of goons, thugs, hoodlums, and lowlifes to beat up. Featuring an engaging combat system allowing players to switch between three different fighting styles instantaneously, Yakuza 0 gives players fluid, free-flowing fights that are easily learned and a joy to master. Take combat up a notch by using environmental objects such as bicycles, sign posts, and car doors for bone-crunching combos and savage take-downs.

I got 50 hours logged and I'm only on chapter 6 :ahh:

Translation: Interview with Yu Suzuki [ Famitsu, Aug 22]

Due to the partnership with Deep Silver, Shenmue III will receive a larger budget towards development. In other words, Yu Suzuki secured that bag which means we will get a beefed up version of Shenmue III.

When Shenmue was originally announced under the codename "Project Berkley" the visuals were inferior to the final game. That Shenmue III trailer was just basically a 2017 version of Project Berkley III.

:blessed:

Hopefully, this increased budget is largely reflected in the animations and models. I want this game to be everything I hope it is but as most of you have said already, it still needs a lot of work.

well Microsoft passed on it so it must have been trash.

This series is possibly the most overrated franchise in gaming history. 1st was epic at the time because technology wasn't advanced enough to make games like that (on console at least) but those types of games are easily possible today. So what will be unique about this? Shenmue 2 wasn't this vastly superior experience. I didn't even finish it (for reasons I cannot remember)

i still got the original discs of Shenmue but the 1st disc doesn't work so i had to make a copy of it, even got a burned copy of Shenmue II in english subtitles. this does look like it was created on Dreamcast but if your a fan of the game you wouldn't really complain about it.
