both were solid, two just had me at the edge of my seat constantly, way more fights way more action....
Truth be told I couldn't fukk with one like that because them first 3d games used to make me dizzy, it took months to play through the story on one for that very reason, 1 and tha dreamcast sonic had feeling like i faced four loud back to back
Part one got you entrenched in the story, part two had me entrenched in the action...Toss up...This may be my last generation of gaming as I dont have the time like that with work, kids and bills, if they let me give Lan Di that work I'll be fulfilled as a gamer.....Honestly I dont need a third game, a remaster will satisfy me...A old game that'll shyt on the last two generation thats needed to show gamers how much they are being milked with 8 hr games, just cause nerfing like gta 5 and dlc, it'll force these companies to stop b.s.ing and step their game up

The only reason I felt Shenmue one was GOAT, was because of how real it was,most games thats setup like Shenmue for instance GTA,Sleeping Dogs,etc, you can just run wild and do as you please,on Shenmue Ryo had a certain time to be back at the crib and told you NO if you went against it
The story line was
The job he had to get only added to the realness of the game,1 didn't have as much action as 2,but as you said I felt 1 was more so the introduction and it kept me entertained hoping to find Lan Di
Im hoping they do a remaster as well and let us put the work to Lan Di who they might make extremely hard to defeat
but I def would cop.And I've too scaled back from gaming,as it just isn't as exciting to me anymore,still young(24) but I cant even play 2k for a full hour without it getting dull,I used to damn near burn out my console in one day playing those games back in the day

I scooped a complete copy of shenmue 1 for like $25 some years ago. Has the book, and the passport disc too. All in immaculate condition.
