She sacrifice her 20s to build long term wealth. She worked 60-80 hours/week. Would you?

Just because you graduated from a top 104 University doesn't mean it'll help you land jobs and more opportunities.

Hiring managers don't see Temple and go :gladbron: "BRING THEM IN FOR AN INTERVIEW!"

Edit: Just looked up my University and it's in the 60's. HR and recruiters are more worried about your degree.

Didn’t say Temple was worldly but bringing up the hiring manager scenario if that hiring manager went to temple it’s more like

:ehh: She went to my Alma mater bring her in. I work for the government I’ve seen this up close.

student loans suck, but i'm not understanding the tuition outrage or argument.

people get free tuition or forgiven student loan debt in various ways, and not all of them become millionaires.

i definitely disagree with telling people what they need to do or how they should live tho. i'm not sure what comments of hers those refer to tho since i haven't read the whole thread. different people have different values. not everyone values money to the same degree. look at michael jackson. he had so much money but seemed completely damaged by missing his childhood. i'd say he valued experience over money, which was his right just as valuing money over experience is her right.

That's the thing tho. She's not telling anyone how to get like her. She's just clowning people that aren't. And when it was found out that she just so happened to hit the education lotto, she tried to spin that shyt like she's always been up on game.

Ultimately she comes off as vain and disingenuous.

This is so true. Our IT Security Manager got his degree from WGU.

It’s sad as fuk to see the kind of ppl that should be having kids having to (or simply deciding to) forgo having a family etc. In this case I’m betting she actually came from a family with some money but bc Black ppl even the ones that are well off are only a few generations removed from poverty etc there is huge pressure to maintain and build upon what the family already accomplished. I have several friends like her and I know around that age most of them regret not having a family etc. But at the same time the market for cats that she would want to settle down with is a buyers market. The dudes she went to school with etc have their pick and they either settled down not long after school or waited until their mid 30s/early 40s with a chick that’s several years younger. I went to school with some bad ass chicks that all went to amazing schools and have high level careers. None of them mothers.

Always could be. But these are ppl I’ve known personally for many years. You can usually tell those types and I never got that feeling from them. But you’re also right in that your lifestyle can oftentimes change your personality.

people like her literally don't help shyt. you got your advantage then shyt on everybody else without it. And let's be clear, she most likely got some easy office type job claiming she worked "60-80 hours per week". A nepotism baby claiming she sacrificed.
She worked those hours on her business....

:blessed: 20s is the age to do drugs, drink, go out nightly, fukk random chicks, college parties and wilding out. 30s that shyt will not be fun to you and you will be to old to really do it.

I’m 29 and still enjoying life, just had my son and settled down with my girl. but if I didn’t go thru that period I woulda felt I missed out tbh. Piece to her, hope she happy.
I don't drink anymore but I did all that stuff in my 20's while having a good job and came out the other side.
