That and his major Debut “Mississippi the album”. My HS was full of black transplants from everywhere, NYC, Chicago, LA, Oakland, Miami, etc. they all loved the singles they heard from it. It sucks the DB got lumped in with the crunk/scream rappers because his lyrics had a lot of depth, even though his flow wasn’t the greatest on a technical level. He got his point across and sought to shine a light on black history.
