I learned the hard way to never be cheap with the stuff you use for your faceCetaphil makes some quality stuff. And even doctors prescribe some of their creams and lotions.
It's not cheap, though.
Same.up....I can use a razor on my cheeks and under my chin but cant use it on my neck. I have to use a trimmer like an Andis T liner. Anyone got this problem?
I've been toying w/ the idea of moving towards a safety razor. There is nothing more painful than shelling out obscene amounts of money for disposables. By far the largest racket in consumer products.
You can get 100 blades on Amazon for like 10 bucks (although i think in this particular deal, your total order needs to be over $20).
With your typical blade, you could easily get 3-4 shaves. Although even if you used 1 blade one time and threw it away...you probably shave...what? Every 3 days or so? Twice a week?
One box lasts you a year, easily.
Lately I've been using Proraso's Sandalwood shaving cream. It's okay, but keep in mind if you buy creams like these, you pretty much have to have a shaving brush, otherwise you'll just be wasting it.
I squeeze out a bit of the cream (about the size of a large almond) and with a few drops of water, I can make enough shaving cream for 3 passes around my face.
I'm thinking about trying some other shaving creams though.
You can do a search on youtube for advice and tips on shaving with safety razors.I'm at work, and don't have time to look right now, but do you have a site that gives a breakdown on switching to that type of safety razor? I'm not trying to come out likeon my first few go rounds
A lot of the shaving guys (like the one I posted) are really into it.
They do all this prep work and invest in pre-shave soaps and tons of shyt....I think it's unnecessary, so just take that stuff with a grain of salt
