The t outliner is around 80-100 depending on where you buy but it's a pretty good trimmer. Suitable for shaving, you'll just have to shave more often.

Lower than that, you can grab one online for $45 or locally for $60 at the corner store that sells everything. I use the t outliner now because I'm a lazy fukk when it comes to shaving, and I don't grow facial hair quickly. It does the job and is versatile enough to handle haircuts if you get the clipper combs. Real talk though, using a throwback razor is soooooo much better once you learn how to work it. It's one of those things I plan on mastering, good look bringing it up OP :myman:

I asked my Barber about why I get razor bumps with straight razors..he said that some people's skin are different ..the straight razor isn't just shaving off ya hair..it's actually scraping the outer layer of skin off and some people break out from it..so it's best to not shave with a straight razor if you're prone to breaking out because in the long run it won't heal as quick and stop healing till you have permanent skin damage..you've seen those people

Cetaphil moisturizer
Noxzema skin cleaser
Kiehls facial scrub
Rubbing alcohol

Keeps the face pretty.

Always wet shave, never dry

I use my electric shaver for non-facial body hair that needs trimming, it doesn't give you a close shave to use it for facial hair imo

I like my current cartridge razor but might try a safety razor :patrice:

cant recommend the DE razors enough.. got myself one last year and it has been great, definitely a money saver + just gives you a great shave. Only other thing i gotta say though is that you shouldnt cheap out on the blades you get; i bought some cheaper blades (shark I think) for my first time thinking it would be ok, but they just weren't sharp enough, ended up having to spend an upward of 15-20mins shaving just to get a good shave in.

the smoothness from shaving with one of these though, and no bumps:jawalrus::blessed:

Yea I use the Proglide with the 5 blade cartridge only on my cheeks and a little under my goatee and use the trimmer on the proglide to shape up my goatee. I use a cheap Wahl clipper to shave my neck. If I dont use the clipper my neck breaks out. I will try the tree oil, however I dont get bumps any more due to the face I wash my face before and I moisturize my face before bed, either with some vaseline or face lotion. I also got a straight edge I use with the blade inserts (you break the razor blade in half to fit in the straight edge holder)
 with ordering them cheap blades from china, (you got a lank?) they aint as sharp. These the blades they sell in the hood beauty stores for like $5.

Cetaphil makes some quality stuff. And even doctors prescribe some of their creams and lotions.
It's not cheap, though.

my head dont break out if i use a razor (im bald)

but my neck does :wtf:

how does the safety razor work on heads still closer shave ??
I couldn't tell you, but I would imagine the safety razor would be just fine. The only thing is, it can be very sharp and I don't know how sensitive or bumpy a person's head can be. So using a razor, you might want to go slow to avoid nicks.

I use Astras myself, though some people like Derbys.
I think people who want REALLY sharp blades might buy some Feather blades, but those are expensive...and from what I've heard...really sharp. Like, you kinda have to know what you're doing and be careful, or you could end up a bloody mess, lol
