or any other elite center from the past. there are no elite post players in this league on the offensive or defensive side. If Shaq came in the league today he would be guard led by nikkas like Kevin Looney and Javele McGhee :russ: He would have averaged 60 a game in the rockets series. They had Clint capela looking like Hakeem for stretches :hhh:
I never thought I would miss post play, but all these wack centers trying to play like wings is disgusting.

I like Shaq but he would get killed on defense in today's league. But, Hakeem and Kareem would feast in today's league. Dominant on offense and anchors on defense because they could move their feet. Essentially, what Embiid has the potential to be.
If he would have stayed light like he was in Orlando he would be fine

Zaza played 14 minutes a game in the playoffs last year... And has since fallen out the rotation completely...not to say Shaq would be that limited and his offensive impact goes without saying, but he would be 100% attacked on defense as a primary area of focus if he played today...he used to get murdered in actions way less intricate than some of the stuff ran today

You don’t know basketball

His peak was literally in the worst era for NBA centers. Antonio Davis and Jamaal Magloire were making All-Star teams. He was abusing the likes of Chris Dudley and Matt Geiger.

1-30 today’s centers are more talented than those of the 90’s. Y’all only look at the handful of HoF bigs that played and can barely name any other centers from that era. Fat fukks and white stiffs were logging minutes across the league. Greg Ostertag and Luc Longley were starting NBA Finals. Kevin Duckworth and Oliver Miller were playing at well over 300 pounds. You had players like Will Perdue and Chris Dudley.

He would be neutralized by making him switch on the perimeter, bringing him out to the 3 point line.

On offense, he would be an offensive foul machine. The charge needs to be removed.
