Good for Shaq. He gave the same speech to his siblings and relatives.
Lot of his early business ventures was him funding his people's business plans and allowing them to gain experience that way.
His step father was hard on Shaq, he always credits him for showing him that value for education and discipline. He's just passing that along, in a different way, to his kids.

To be completely honest, I think Shaq is lying about that statement anyways based sheerly on the number of people in his family that he has to support and has supported over the years. He just doesn't strike me as the type to leave all of them in a situation where they'd struggle long term.

It's gonna be interesting to see what will happen to the children of the 90s era of celebrities. They are the first real generation of celebrities to get REAL money so I'm curious how many of them really do have generational wealth and if they can pass down the right principles to their children to keep it going.
