How do "carry" someone when you outscore them by barely 2 PPG game or aren't the closer on your own squad?

shaq 30.4 ppg
kobe 29.4 ppg
1.0 ppg difference

2002 playoffs
shaq 28.5 ppg
kobe 26.6 ppg
1.9 ppg difference:rudy:

Smh at getting outscored/Outrebounded, out blocked, out assisted in game 7 of a conference finals by the "robin"

2000 WCF game 7

kobe - 25/11/7
shaq - 18/9/5

kobe was doing what wade is doing now with the heat ..scoring in spurts and enjoying one on one coverage

teams planned against shaq, and they let kobe roam cause the nikka shot 43 percent

get mad :skip:

More liked Kobe carried Shaq to the finals (Kings, Spurs anyone?) and Shaq did his thing against Todd MacCulloch:russ:

This is just as stupid as saying that Shaq carried Kobe if not more so actually. As much as Kobe beasted against those teams it doesn't happen to that level and they certainly don't win without Shaq out there. Just look at Kobe's performances from 06 and 07. He was at his absolute peak but couldn't match his performance from those prior series.

Kobe beasted in the " real finals", the ECF teams(while great Defensively) were just a formality. That's why Kobe dominanting in Game 7 against the blazers was so important, that was essentially the championship right there, and he saved the season.

And Kobe from 08-10 was better in the playoffs then he was from 00-02.

Also when you look at Kobe without shaq and shaq without Kobe it's night and day. Shaq is David Robinson status without Bryant

Exept Kobe's numbers as a 22-23 year old are better than Wade's numbers since the big 3 was formed :heh:

Kobe in 00-01 playoffs.
29.4 7.3 6.1

Kobe in 01-02 playoffs.
26.6 5.8 4.6

Wade in 10-11 playoffs.
24.5 7.1 4.4

Wade in 11-12 playoffs.
23.0 5.1 4.4

wade 06 run>>>>anything kobe did in the offs
