And Shaq didn't win shyt until his competition died out and/or got weaker.

Unless we're talking about dominating removed from success like winning championships, which would go against the point of this thread.

It's rather an empty argument to begin with, because it's not like Jokic is playing against lesser competition, he's still playing against all-time great talent, regardless of position. The greatest player to ever play the game (to many) had virtually no competition at his position, yet we never hear those folks use that against him.

WHY ARE YOU MENTIONING WINNING
WHEN JOKIC HAS ONE RING?

JOKIC HASNT MADE ONE CONFERENCE FINALS
IN HIS 3 MVP SEASONS...
SO IS HE DOMINATING?

Because winning championships is relevant to the premise of this thread.

From 94-99 Shaq got swept five times. 5 times. That's nearly every year he made the playoffs in the 90s it ended in him being swept.

So is he still dominating?

JOKIC TITLE RUN

Past the fact that 99% of the time a Title run will be greater than a Finals run when comparing legacies, this is par for the course that is your gimmick. You're only stating this because he beat your mans, as if that somehow transcends winning a championship.

Funnily enough, this was another season that Shaq's postseason ended in getting swept, and yet somehow you want us to believe that it was a better run than Jokic who dominated every game from start to end, completely destroying every player and team in his path, with nobody else even remotely on his level during those playoffs.

Yet somehow the guy who ended up getting swept, not even winning a title had a better run.

He didn't win shyt until the 90s bigs started fading out (and for the most part their impact and ability is romanticized, which we all know you won't admit for obvious reasons).

Who was he dominating during the Lakers three-peat? What was the difference between the bigs during that period and the bigs that Jokic has come up against? What true centers were there in terms of size and skill?

You know this kind of nuance isn't liked around here.

TYRONE GA!
I fukks with Jokic too but it's a bit too much.

That's why I was glad Sam Cassell told Draymond about how nice Dream was.

At one point, Dream was top ten in points, rebounds, blocks, and steals. No other center or player has done that if I'm not mistaken.

Shaq certainly could have done more but being able to do what he did, and we're saying he could've done more is wild in and of itself.
playing with 2 greatest SGs of all time after Mike didn't hurt either.

Todd McCullough was a starting center in the finals :mjlol:
Wait his turn when he was coming up against:

old ass Divac
old ass Sabonis
old ass Smits
old ass DRob
Mutumbo's one dimensional ass
MacCulloch's no dimensional ass.

I'm not letting ya'll do this to Shaq.

One not Shaq fault when he was born.

But it's okay to do it to Jokic?

We're allowed to criticize his competition but we can't criticize Shaq's?

You can do whatever

But don't get mad at somebody for brining up the SFs we got playing the 5 now and call all the centers old in Shaq's prime

Be equal opportunity
And that's what I'm doing.

You should be directing this to those who shytted on Jokic's compeition, but aren't measuring Shaq's the same. That's the entire point of my argument.
