The format is the mod . When you think about it they were ahead of their time in that regard. "Moderator" had pretty much devolved into "pretty broad that asks the obvious or acts stunned" anyway.

IIRC Whitlock’s version of Speak for Yourself was the first FS1 show without a traditional mod format.

Other shows slowly followed suit.

One could argue that a moderator (eye candy with a good personality) is that little extra that makes these shows work. You can even see it with Cam's/Mase's show with Stat Baby. Undisputed has never been the same since Jenny left imo, and was at it's peak with Joy.

But Skip can never get along with these chicks, so he's thrown the format in the bushes....that or they can't find many women who want to work with him on set lol.
