The most headache inducing sentence I keep hearing regarding this situation is that they understand what Colin did but don't like how he did it

What exactly would be a better way to address the countless murders of American citizens than a peaceful protest which, is what Colin did. When I hear this I think it's just an underhanded way of saying he should have just kept quiet or protested at home where they don't have to worry about or hear it. This is disrespectful and it disturbs me to hear anyone say this regarding police brutality.

Shannon also brought up a great point that I think more people should take to heart which was that when we kill each other we are going to jail but, when police do it it's business as usual. I think this should be said whenever someone brings up black on black crime because it's what separates the issues. Ray Lewis is a fool for not understanding this and bringing up black on black violence.

This whole situation is showing players and fans what the NFL and the NFL owners really think of the black men that are risking their bodies and minds for their entertainment.
