I feel like JC is a better overall player too but Kuzma is just flat out a better scorer and depending on the team (Wizards), his scoring ability has more value than the intangibles that JC brings.

one on one scoring is about it and Kuzma isn't all star level
Kuzma is easily replaceable its harder to find a player like Collins
Wizards rebuilding might as well let Kuzma go basically for the same reason they let Beal go

Yup kuzma can shoot the 3, he can score inside and out, he can rebound, even increased his playmaking with almost 4 assists per game. He's going to get paid
