Could not agree more, that's the point I was making a few pages back. The route they took to have this Lip/Fiona bubble burst was beyond nonsense. Compare the reality check she got when Liam did coke to what she did now, fukking night and day.
I understand their backs are against the wall as far as having to write her out of the story, but they'd be doing more justice having her disapear off screen or having her do a bid than this garbage.

I was thinking during this episode that Emma Rossum must have pissed off the writing staff of the show, as they are doing their hardest to make everybody hate her character. There is nothing redeemable about Fiona.
But, she’s going to AA now. Of course she’s now going to AA with Lip (I shoulda seen that....it’s all set up perfectly). They showed her downfall and out of control behavior. Even Frank was like...you’re a bad drunk
it actually makes her AA trip that much more powerful.
I know about getting out of control with alcohol and having it ruin your life. I see what they’re doing with Fiona. I see myself in her character now. Maybe the season can be redeemed.
And, what the fukk happened to Liam? He just disappeared, with no reason given.

Stopped watching this two seasons ago. This is up there with the Walking Dead. Both shows started off great and lasted for at least 5 or 6 seasons with top quality content. Then both series became a mainstream mega hit, so instead of ending the series when it needs to be ended (shameless) or the taking a hiatus until the right time to return (Walking Dead)-- these series just keep milking what ever sense of pride they have left. At this point their memes and this is why both head actors from each show decided to leave the show.
I don't know what else shameless can cover. Even though Fiona is one of the most annoying characters from the show she still is the main character. Going 9 seasons deep with her as the focus of being the big sister just to continue the series without drops the series legacy overall.

Showtime drags every show out until it's zombie status. Best point to end the show was season 7 when their moms died and Fiona's future was looking up.

Debbie snaking her way to Carl's girl has been annoying to watch. Her character has been awful since the pregnancy storyline which is fine but the show still wants us to fukk with her.
Theres about 3-4 characters in this shyt right now battling for the WOAT television character.
