Several individual players and the team collectively play better/faster on turf rather than grass. Guys like Gallup, Micah, Zeke, Pollard, the safeties all play with much more confidence and are much more impactful on turf. I don’t think we’re a soft team but our physicality and play speed torpedoes when we get outside. Four losses on grass this season. This is another reason our season effectively ended when we didn’t get that #1 seed.
