How is comparing the last year and a half disingenuous when Arod had Davante last year and is way better than Dak anyways? Imagine replacing Dak with Arod last year. Where do we end up??
The only other year we have to grade him on is 2020 when we had a historically terrible defense (which is on him) and a backup for most of the season.
Nit-picking a non-challenge is crazy considering coaches do it every week. I mean Dan Campbell just did the damn near the same thing this past week on the Micah play
As far as the penalties, we have improved.
Who gets credit for that?
I understand not liking breh, but we cant have a 17-7 record over a year and a half and give all the credit to Quinn
I feel like the culture changed here when we brought in Quinn.
It was the same soft, bullshyt ass team and culture with McCarthy that it was with Garrett. DQ is the guy who really caused a paradigm shift with this franchise and locker room, imo.
I’ll admit the penalties seemed to have calmed down thus far, but again, sample size. We’ll see how we hold up down the road and possibly in the playoffs if we make it.
I’m just not sold on McCarthy. Never have been. Especially when one unit of our team has been legendarily good thus far and another staff member or two are the ones who have their fingerprints all over it. Fat Mike’s clock management has always been laughably bad, and nitpicking at the challenges is more an extension of his game management skills than specifically honing in on throwing the red flag.
We can agree to disagree. I don’t trust this fat piece of shyt to give us a coaching edge or outsmart the opponent any given Sunday. I truly feel we win in spite of him, not because of him.
