Let me ask this what has Steph done as an athlete to anger the public to recieve some form of hate?

You do realize in the real world people don’t have to have a reason to not like you. Maybe people dislike him because his team is winning. Maybe people dislike him because his antics on the court. If that was the conversation maybe I could understand but it’s still not on the level of most superstars. And once again, neither of those things has anything to do with him being light skinned.

The dark men dating light skin shouldn't really be a talking point. (for most dark skinned men)

Let's just look at this from a logical perspective. The darker you are, the more the odds are you will date a lighter person. The lighter you are, the more the odds favor you dating a darker person. If you put the black race on a shade scale, what percentage of black women would be darker than the darkest black man for him to date? The answer is 0, so he would have to date a lighter woman. So the "best" he could do is match his hue, which would be 1% of the population. The other 99% of women would be lighter in complexion.

If you want to be honest Steph gets passes becuase of his skin color, part of that comes from the the media giving Steph passes because he's light-skin, anybody that's black knows what I talking about. Steph has done some cocky shyt most athletes do and never gets called arrogant and cocky, he gets marked as humble. Ask your self why does steph not get that cocky mark-by the media but other players do, he isn't the first player with a family, he isn't the first player that is religious, why think about it?
This has zero to do with self claimed black posters bringing up how light he is every chance they get.

Shyt come off c00nish. You can tell light hearted joking & who not.

You're not black so I'd doubt you understand

The light skin shyt is just jokes... We dont need to give a damn black history lesson on national tv about this.:heh:
its no different than cacs clowning gingers and shyt at this point.

The players dislike steph because hes a spoiled brat annoying pipsqueak who dominates opponents with non-physical play. Not by yamming on dudes, but pulling up from 40 and doing spice girls dances. All while being seemingly exempt from criticism most of his career and having his family worshipped and shown on tv after every play. as if hes the only player in the league who has parents and a wife. They also act like hes the only player who is Christian... as if all other players are these demonic heathens or something. Meanwhile he STAYS cursing people out and smacking ppl with his mouthguard. Thats all got to be infuriating.

The fans and critics on the other hand, are finally starting to hold him accountable for his choking episodes. As they would have with any other superstar after the first instance.. But now its considered colorism and hate??

For those who think this conversation shouldn’t be had, could I ask why not?
Y’all barely give their conversations on sports merit. Look, I’m not calling them stupid or anything but there are plenty of other topics I’d rather hear their opinions on. Not everyone should y’all just cause they have a mic or a platform

Naa you didnt answer my question

Any superstar you’re thinking of has likely done something whether serious in the realm of life or not to entice the public

Steph hasn’t, for what reason would the media need to throw heat at Steph?

The 215
Colorism is a problem with damn near every ethnic group outside of cacs.

It's really pathetic and just shows how much cac influence and fukkery has affected the whole damn world
Colorism is a problem online that y’all hype up. Face to face unless y’all roll with a gang of ignorant cats I see no actual examples of this. Hell most of the online examples some dummy talking shyt you wouldn’t pay attention to them unless they saying dumb stuff. That’s why colorism is bullshyt. Maybe in other countries their is some truth but in America not really esp dating wise.

Ole Shay got hit hard with that "worshipping light skin women" line. After he was fawning all over Nicole Murphy. But again, I don't see that as a problem. As long as he's not out here shaming brown and dark skin sisters, then there shouldn't be an issue with his preference.
