Made it halfway thru ep 3 and couldn’t take no more of that racist detective. The racist narc was tolerable but that other cac was talking slick to shorty only cause she was a woman. He ain’t talking to no brother like that to his fukking face

The "bed-wenching" is mostly coli hyperbole. She for sure has a past that was discussed, but that aspect is not actually portrayed on screen. Her drinking problem is apparent, tho. I was expecting to be disgusted, but it never came to fruition. Great show. Realistic. Tragic ending, but realistic. And a lot of things left unresolved so that subsequent seasons could be justified.

This series is nothing but The Wire if it was produced and directed by Tyler Perry. Dumbed down version of it. Too cliche and too many predictable character stereotypes. Started off interesting but went downhill wayyyy downhill halfway through.
