They made a mistake at the end aswell, Regina kings character never knew diangelo had greenlit the rookie.

Completely disgusted with the time they gave that cop. Very good casting cause I grew to legit hate some of characters, particularly KJ and the guilty cop’s wife/baby mama. It’s crazy how a show with racist white cops, the black female lawyer is probably the absolute worst character on the show. She was insufferable and I was legit getting pissed off watching her fukk up

I think what angered me so much about this show was it’s accuracy. These types of cases actually happen in that same fashion. Cops protect themselves, not citizens, and lawyers will take on a case knowing damn well their client is guilty yet overlook that for greed and money.

I blame this shyt on the Indian-Canadian showrunner.
Making a show about Black people when she has no idea what we're like.
Ultimately, like most film and TV about Black people by non-Black people, it was an unintentional expose of how others, even with the kindest intentions, think of us eternally cursed losers.
