Let's keep it real, blacks and other minorities have BEEN getting fired, hindered and barred from professional opportunities since America was founded to today. How many people here have ever worked in an office and seen or heard some older white man have an anger breakdown righr in the middle of work over something and NEVER get punished? Happens ALL THE TIME. If that same action was taken by a minority or even a woman, they received all kinds of backlash. The standards have NEVER been equal and this PC police isn't a new concept, it's always existed, it's just white people typically get off easy (kind of like real police).

Nowadays white people are JUST STARTING to get held to a similar standard as everyone else and they are losing their minds over it because they have never had to learn to control themselves and their emotions at this extent, meanwhile woman and minorities have been doing this since day one. You ever notice how it's typically always white people getting in trouble over this? Minorities already KNOW their ass is canned if they get too comfortable.

I will firmly admit a big part of this is pettiness as I enjoy seeing the kickback white people have been getting on this simply because now they can start getting a taste of what we all have had to live with for decades.

This dumb bytch :dead:

Seth you picked a winner. This b_tch is straight trash.

I wonder if we need a huge mega thread on Seth's Scumbag Tales like Cena since he's already racking up so many scandals like it's 1997. :lupe: I heard he wasn't well liked down there at NXT and was close to getting fired anyway.

If he's smart, he'll cut this one loose. Second controversy he's been involved in because of her. He's gotta be dropping that title to Sting now. :banderas: He's too much of a liability. shyt like this is why Vince doesn't like to put the title on new guys. They always fukk it up somehow.

That's why I'm surprised he dates such bad bytches, always thought he was gay. :manny:

What's gonna haunt you? What's the bad precedent?

Pretty simple, normal people dont want to be associated w/ ignorance and hate. Dont be an ignorant, hateful piece of shyt and you have nothing to worry about.

Who gets to decide what is ignorance?

Who gets to decide what is hate?

They said Public Enemy was ignorance and hate when they were doing all the "whitey was in a cave fukkin' monkeys while Black people were queens and kings" shyt.

They said NWA was hate when they said "fukk the Police"

This is the problem with people deciding what's "hate" and what's not.

:umad:@The Amerikkkan Idol taking slippery slope to extremes. Why is it that I can't go to the office in ripped blue jeans and a wife beater? Why is it that car salesmen/woman are always in suits or professional looking? Why did the NBA impose a dress code or companies have uniforms for their workers? Yes, because these people represent their respective companies. Stands to reason that the negative actions of one, or a few, looks bad on the company as a whole.

If someone from Walmart called me a ******, I would immediately question who hired this bozo and wonder what standards and traditions Walmart aspires too. People these days are lucky to find and keep solid work, so why did you choose to hire someone who needed more social training if you're relying on the experience of the public at large?

Zahra chose to work for a company with the same goal: to please the public. No one told her she had to represent her true self in social media. She chose to try to spread bigotry, homophobia, and other maladjusted principles openly. Yeah, you could choose to keep her aboard, and you can choose to give her 3 strikes. Whatever your choice, you should consider the fact that people are going to both delve into your company's history in dealing with other sensitive situations (after the Atlantic article, a lot of people went :mjpls: at the WWE), and you are setting yourself up for lawsuits, merited or no, when one of your workers decides to use it against you.

In a private company, this may not have been a problem. But it's not and I just don't see why Vince and Co would be stupid enough to take that chance for this low-level employee that was drawing the wrong kind of heat.

You can make your own personal choice on how you deal with racism. People like me see it as a systemic problem that kills economies and quality of life for all races, because we are too busy going tit-for-tat with racial grievances instead of solving real problems.

If you are a celebrity, or aspire to be, you should be smart enough to know how to handle your brand. You should be smart enough to know who is making that fame for you and how not to burn a bridge. If you want to do you, do you independently. If you are a celeb, you should also be smart enough to know that nothing you say or do is going to be private....ever. if you have to be fake, I'd rather you do that and be unhappy, than voice your bitter opinions and validate other bigots. You asked for that kind of life.

Btw, Tim Hardaway was still working for the NBA as promotions when his thing went down. A lot of other assertions you made I'll deal with after people deal with my tl;dl. Sorry people in advance.

  • Dude, who's arguing that people should be able to wear blue jeans and a wifebeater at work? At WORK, you are on the clock. AT HOME, you should be able to do what you want.

  • The NBA had no dress code the entire time I was growing up and didn't have one until David Stern was urged by the RACIST media to create one because they didn't like that Black players were wearing baggy jeans and T-shirts. Notice the White sports leagues for the most part, don't have dress codes. This is part of the problem I have with this. nikkaz will ALWAYS be the ones bout to go to jail over lyrics like 2Live Crew or NWA or how now they're trying to label Black Lives Matter a "hate group"

  • I didn't say if somebody called you a ****** AT WALMART, just that what if somebody who worked at Walmart called you that. If the person is on the clock, the standards should be a lot different than if the person is just on the internet and who's hanging out somewhere. If a person called you a ****** AT WORK, they should be fired, as they're bad at their jobs.

  • The chick wasn't working for the company when she said that foul shyt she said

  • Tim Hardaway was wrongfully fired for his opinions and I don't agree with his opinions or him getting fired for them.

What is ignorance? Not liking black people is ignorant? Lets get real here. Everyone has their prejudices. I talk shyt about white people sometimes. Im not racist, but if someone recorded a convo i had with my parents about race. Id be a wrap.

Youre entitled to that. This is America, you are be able to be a Nazi, a Panther, A KKK member, whatever the fukk you want. Im black BTW, but I cant get with the notion of telling people what's right or wrong to think. It's only wrong when those thoughts are put into negative action.

In America, you dont HAVE to be tolerant, you should be good to everyone. But you dont HAVE to like gays, blacks, whites, mexicans, etc. You just have to treat them fairly. We all think or talk shyt about other races. Im not saying she shouldn't have been fired.

Maybe my point is too complex for some. I understand WHY SHE WAS FIRED. DUH... PUBLIC RELATIONS...DUH

What im saying is, its becoming increasingly common to fire people for what they THINK. That doesnt stop people from feeling/thinking the way they do. They just become better at hiding it. I dont think people should lose what they work for because of their personal beliefs. No matter how much, I disagree with that belief. Theyre entitled to be whomever they want, also I'd rather know my enemy.

I get why shorty was fired. Ya'll keep trying to explain her getting fired to me. I get that. My issue is where I see this country going with all these phony witch hunts. shyt is insulting and it's some real Thought Police type shyt.

Dude, I don't know how old you are, but I get the feeling that we're older than these cats by a few years. I remember when people didn't get fired for saying shyt.

Hell, look at all the shyt Charles Barkley, Jose Canseco, Dennis Rodman, Mike Tyson, etc. . .were saying back in the '80s.

I mean, if you were some old White dude in power saying shyt, you might get fired, that's true, but we didn't treat athletes/entertainers with this scrutiny

It's not about what she thinks. It's about the judgment she displays keeping those images up and distributing those tweets while her name is attached to the name of a publicly traded American corporation - one with both investors and sponsors who bank on the public image of the company. People can THINK whatever they want. It's when they become an impediment to commerce that's the problem.

And that's the problem, corporate America.

I don't know how old you are, but I remember when baseball, basketball players, football players, entertainers, etc. . .could say and do shyt without having to worry about their "brand" or getting fired for an opinion.

You're definitely right, no doubt about it, but those industries are also a lot bigger and have black sub-sections. You have black record labels. You have black film and tv companies, along with a culture to accompany it.

Sports like basketball and football are heavily associated, perhaps even reliant on african-american culture and african american presence.

In DC, there's numerous black organizations and caucuses in place to combat the white homogenized culture in politics and of course there's a black family in the white house.

Wall Street? Got me there.

But the wrestling industry is essentially a monopolized niche industry ran by a single family with a very exclusive culture within it. It's literally just a few hundred people over the last 40 years, mostly white, who determine the direction the industry moves in creatively and culturally and black people have no foothold in it at all and have been systematically shut out in ways other sport and entertainment companies might have shut blacks out 40 or 50 years ago.

I'm not telling you what you should watch, but let's not act as if wrestling is not a lot worse. Black wrestlers and wrestling fans have zero support. It's insane.

And none of those Black organizations have any power whatsoever.

Even the Black president is a propped up puppet for banks and defense companies.

There's only 1 Black primary owner in the NBA and it's the blackest league.

There are none in NFL.

There's currently 3 Black coaches last time I checked out of 120 FBS schools.

Yeah, there's "black organizations" but they aint worth shyt.

And also, there's tons of Mexican, Japanese, and other countries that have wrestling too. WWE aren't the only company in the world.

@LaughsLikePac

You have the complete right to say or do whatever the hell you want. We have the right to judge it.

Who says not to judge . . .JUDGE AWAY!!!

If your true self is being a bigot and you can't even hide it, that's on you. People getting fired aren't saying minor things. They're saying some disturbing vitriolic stuff. Unless you have some fukked up beliefs and can't hide them, you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

Again, who are you to decide who's a bigot and who's not?

Who are you to decide who's beliefs are fukked up and who's not?

I mean, we have a right to judge people's beliefs, but I don't think we have a right to take people's livelihoods from them because of those beliefs, UNLESS those beliefs mean they can't do their job in a decent way, like being a cop or something where you have people's lives in your hands or work with children as a teacher or something. But athletes/entertainers are mostly morons that are celebrated for being good at entertaining and that should be the only use we have for those people.

I'm pretty sure that's what it is. Or straight c00ning. I've never seen a "brotha" fight this hard for a Nazi sympathizer.

I don't think that he is, and I know I aint.

I think that the issue is whatever they do to White people today, they'll do to black people tomorrow.

Charles Barkley 20 years ago said, "I hate White people" and didn't even get suspended.

Today, he'd be suspended, and have to give a horrible apology in order to be able to continue to play basketball.

Don't think that they're not waiting to use this type of shyt against NBA and NFL players or Black wrestlers in the future.

They're already calling Black Lives Matter a "hate group" responsible for dead cops all over Amerikkka.

Just wait until some "radical" nikkaz get in there and start telling the truth about White folks and they call it "hate speech" and they'll use shyt like this and what happened with Hogan and Donald Sterling as a precedent to take millions of dollars away from some Black kid from the hood talking shyt about White folks.

Let's keep it real, blacks and other minorities have BEEN getting fired, hindered and barred from professional opportunities since America was founded to today. How many people here have ever worked in an office and seen or heard some older white man have an anger breakdown righr in the middle of work over something and NEVER get punished? You ever notice how it's typically always white people getting in trouble over this? Minorities already KNOW their ass is canned if they get too comfortable.

I will firmly admit a big part of this is pettiness as I enjoy seeing the kickback white people have been getting on this simply because now they can start getting a taste of what we all have had to live with for decades.

AND THAT IS WRONG that Black people get fired for bullshyt. You really wanna make it even easier to fire Black people over bullshyt?

Why do you think that this won't end up being worst for Black people?

Nobody says what they want more than we do.

Just like at this forum, "CAC this, CAC that, we need to start bussin' back at crakkkas" etc. . .

And minorities were absolutely more free back in the day.

The shyt Biggie, Pac, NWA, Public Enemy said in Hip-Hop 20 years ago would get them called "bigoted, homophobic, sexist" etc. . .today.

Just look at shyt they come at Lil' Wayne and Nicki Minaj for?

The shyt Biggie and Ice Cube said was wayyyyy worst.

Them nikkaz records wouldn't even be allowed to come out.

Charles Barkley said he hated White people 20 years ago.

Muhammad Ali advocated lynching interracial couples 50 years ago and nothing happened to him at the time.

Tell me that nikkaz in Hip-Hop or sports could get away with saying shyt that NWA, Public Enemy, Dennis Rodman, Barkley, Ali, Tyson, etc. . .said back in the day with very little consequence?

The general public/society decides. Its pretty easy to recognize hate and ignorance, this isnt complicated like you want it to be.

Times change and views change with the times. Miss me with that "back in the day" bullshyt, you sound like rednecks longing for the "good ol days."

Expand your horizons, change with the times or be a dinosaur and get left in the dust :manny:
