Opinions shouldn't have consequences. THATS THE POINT YOUR MISSING.

ACTIONS SHOULD HAVE CONSEQUENCES, NOT OPINIONS. There is no right opinion or wrong opinion. This country is based off that ideal. That's what makes America, America. So by your logic NWA shoulda been jailed for "fukk The Police". One mans liberation, is another's oppression.

For every one of that say's, "yeah fukk the police." There's someone who's totally flabbergastered by the idea that the police could even possibly be bad.

If u don't like me, and I don't like you. THATS NOT ILLEGAL, THERES NO LAW THAT SAYS I HAVE TO LIKE GAY, WHITE, CHINESE, PURPLE WHATEVER. IT SHOULD ONLY BECOME AN ISSUE WHEN I ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT RACISM OR PREJUDICE.

I know she put it in a PUBLIC forum. But she didn't do it while she was working there. So basically tall saying we shouldn't be able to put up things we feel, because of what potentially may happen. THATS bullshyt.

I'm black, and I'm happy she got fired. But I think yall missing the point of the greater argument here. THIS SETS A BAD PRECEDNET THAT IS GOING TO COME BACK TO HAUNT US AS A PEOPLE. But whatever, have your instant gratification.
What's gonna haunt you? What's the bad precedent?

Pretty simple, normal people dont want to be associated w/ ignorance and hate. Dont be an ignorant, hateful piece of shyt and you have nothing to worry about.

She's employed and representing a public company bro.
It's a bad look and you have to cut bait.

:umad:@The Amerikkkan Idol taking slippery slope to extremes. Why is it that I can't go to the office in ripped blue jeans and a wife beater? Why is it that car salesmen/woman are always in suits or professional looking? Why did the NBA impose a dress code or companies have uniforms for their workers? Yes, because these people represent their respective companies. Stands to reason that the negative actions of one, or a few, looks bad on the company as a whole.

If someone from Walmart called me a ******, I would immediately question who hired this bozo and wonder what standards and traditions Walmart aspires too. People these days are lucky to find and keep solid work, so why did you choose to hire someone who needed more social training if you're relying on the experience of the public at large?

Zahra chose to work for a company with the same goal: to please the public. No one told her she had to represent her true self in social media. She chose to try to spread bigotry, homophobia, and other maladjusted principles openly. Yeah, you could choose to keep her aboard, and you can choose to give her 3 strikes. Whatever your choice, you should consider the fact that people are going to both delve into your company's history in dealing with other sensitive situations (after the Atlantic article, a lot of people went :mjpls: at the WWE), and you are setting yourself up for lawsuits, merited or no, when one of your workers decides to use it against you.

In a private company, this may not have been a problem. But it's not and I just don't see why Vince and Co would be stupid enough to take that chance for this low-level employee that was drawing the wrong kind of heat.

You can make your own personal choice on how you deal with racism. People like me see it as a systemic problem that kills economies and quality of life for all races, because we are too busy going tit-for-tat with racial grievances instead of solving real problems.

If you are a celebrity, or aspire to be, you should be smart enough to know how to handle your brand. You should be smart enough to know who is making that fame for you and how not to burn a bridge. If you want to do you, do you independently. If you are a celeb, you should also be smart enough to know that nothing you say or do is going to be private....ever. if you have to be fake, I'd rather you do that and be unhappy, than voice your bitter opinions and validate other bigots. You asked for that kind of life.

Btw, Tim Hardaway was still working for the NBA as promotions when his thing went down. A lot of other assertions you made I'll deal with after people deal with my tl;dl. Sorry people in advance.

What is ignorance? Not liking black people is ignorant? Lets get real here. Everyone has their prejudices. I talk shyt about white people sometimes. Im not racist, but if someone recorded a convo i had with my parents about race. Id be a wrap.

Youre entitled to that. This is America, you are be able to be a Nazi, a Panther, A KKK member, whatever the fukk you want. Im black BTW, but I cant get with the notion of telling people what's right or wrong to think. It's only wrong when those thoughts are put into negative action.

In America, you dont HAVE to be tolerant, you should be good to everyone. But you dont HAVE to like gays, blacks, whites, mexicans, etc. You just have to treat them fairly. We all think or talk shyt about other races. Im not saying she shouldn't have been fired.

Maybe my point is too complex for some. I understand WHY SHE WAS FIRED. DUH... PUBLIC RELATIONS...DUH

What im saying is, its becoming increasingly common to fire people for what they THINK. That doesnt stop people from feeling/thinking the way they do. They just become better at hiding it. I dont think people should lose what they work for because of their personal beliefs. No matter how much, I disagree with that belief. Theyre entitled to be whomever they want, also I'd rather know my enemy.

I get why shorty was fired. Ya'll keep trying to explain her getting fired to me. I get that. My issue is where I see this country going with all these phony witch hunts. shyt is insulting and it's some real Thought Police type shyt.
