Imagine having kids and you wake up at 34 realizing you don't want to raise them anymore :manny: too late now but best believe the little rugrats will feel the distant energy and lack of parental love coming from you. These the kids out here acting a damn fool. I wish more people waited and took time to really think about why they want kids. Are you actually going to be a real parent giving your child unconditional love or is it for selfish reasons.
You are correct, It goes both ways.

Some people NEVER actually want to be parents through the whole thing.

I feel like the more introverted you are in this society the easier it is to have kids. I basically spend everyday with my wife to the point we literally work together like 80% of the time we have gigs, and I really only ever hang out with one cousin, so I have an large amount of time I spend to myself. Having a kid really wouldn’t change my lifestyle much at all.

But I can see someone who likes to do a lot to themselves of with their partner not wanting the energy drain that comes with a child.

But beware of what this celebrity says, when he says “do whatever we want” he really means
“Do what thou wilt”

nikkas usually wait after the fact to say “ I wish I was married before I had kid(s)”

A lot of the single moms 40 and up I work with who have teenage kids or kids in their 20s don’t even get help out of they kids and always complain about having kids with the wrong person and wish they was married first , because they know them kids are not going to be around when they older

My chick work as a social worker for adults wit drug addiction and she tell me all the time how the ladies and men kids don’t fukk with them or give help…

Selfishness today is out the roof

Not wanting kids is fine, but I hear so many people with out kids I feel the need to defend having them now. The appeal might not be immediate, but as a person who loves love, surrounding yourself with those who love you, just having that love reciprocated is amazing. The pride and satisfaction I get from seeing my son grow is unmatched by anything else in life. Being a parent isn't for everyone, but for the ones who are probably wouldn't trade that blessing for the world.

It's going to be that way at 54 when you are taking care of them after college since they can't get a job due to AI

Good for him.

I can't help but feel apprehensive towards people like him though. My general feeling is that society is churning out more and more nihilistic adults. Some of it is down to society failing younger people (lack of opportunities, wage not matching the cost of living) but I attribute a lot of it to the media we consume.

It doesn't create a positive image to aspire to. It just encourages to point out the flaws in society and bitterly accept them.

What’s so nihilistic about not wanting kids? :gucci:

Not having kids in an already over populated word with limited resources is. Actually a noble act.

Making replicas of yourself is an actually selfish act which takes zero fukking skills and very little effort.

They need to defend not having one since people will pressure them like their parents and office workers. Even in this example the interviewer kept pushing on why he didn't have kids so he gave an answer.

Children are great but many people also have nices and nephews as well so they are not missing out on seeing young ones grow.

But this only applies if they are healthy again what if they are lgbt or they are special needs or they grow up to teenagers and they rebel against you.

I don't think it's the same as having nieces or nephews. There's no way to say this without it sounding fukked up but while I love my nieces and nephews.... There's a different level of love for my kid just because I've been there for damn near everything with him.

With that said, I think it's selfish to pressure people who want kids into having one, and I think it's selfish to have a kid in the expectation that they'll labor for their parents when they're old and sick (seriously fukked up) and I think it's selfish to have a kid without fully assessing whether one wants one or is ready for it. Different strokes for different folks, find what makes you happy and don't let anyone pressure you into doing anything else.

I can respect it. I’m the same mentality towards marriage. :manny:

Love my kids though. Their moms car broken down and in the shop so they been staying with me for the last couple of weeks to get to school and it’s been :gladbron::ohlawd:.

But I applaud Seth and his wife for their stance on kids. Ppl shouldn’t be out here having kids if they’re not ready for it. It take more than finances to have kids.

If you have kids, good for you.

If you don't have kids, good for you.

If you don't have kids and want some someday, good for you.

If you don't have kids and don't want any, good for you.

TYRONE GA!
Having dependents suck but for those who are blessed to live a long time, they’d wish they had kids to love and take care of them.

Agree.

I gotta tell my boys once they are grown to not put their daddy in Shady Pines. :to:
