Having dependents suck but for those who are blessed to live a long time, they’d wish they had kids to love and take care of them.

Not if your rich and the fact is your kids will not be able to take care of you when your old if we are looking at inflation if you are really weak you will just lay in a bed getting a sacral ulcer. Also having kids just so that they will take care of you is pretty selfish

Good for him.

I can't help but feel apprehensive towards people like him though. My general feeling is that society is churning out more and more nihilistic adults. Some of it is down to society failing younger people (lack of opportunities, wage not matching the cost of living) but I attribute a lot of it to the media we consume.

It doesn't create a positive image to aspire to. It just encourages to point out the flaws in society and bitterly accept them.

This is from a forum that is 90% about GMB if a person realizes they wouldn't be a good parent

Been on that wave. People say it's selfies because misery loves company. My time is mine. Your peers resent you. I work with a bunch of married men. Only one guy told me he looks forward to going home. Everyone else gets jealous soon as they know you single with the same income and less responsibility.

I dont get why this is such a topic, if you dont want kids, cool - if you do, cool

personally, my son is the best part of my life, but I totally understand why some of my friends dont have that same excitement and would rather focus on other areas of their lives - its a sacrifice, that while extremely rewarding, is still a huge sacrifice on ones personal life

that really is unfortunate for those men then - but its a tired generalization that all married people with families are miserable. I cant think of any of my friends that I stay close with that have families that are miserable. Maybe its because we do joint activties as families and are able to better balance our personal lives while including my son

at my age, Id personally rather be home with a family - personal preference of course. I wouldnt put much stock into what those men tell you though, I sometimes act like Im envious of my friends going out on the weekends and shyt, but the reality is, I would 1000% rather be home, Im just being polite and affable with them

Stop forcing people to have kids
He has the self awareness to know he probably would be an aint shyt parent
nikkas love that pushing generations forward and keeping the earth population up
But be the same nikkas that came from straight up broken parents themselves
And don’t know shyt about being a parent themselves
In turn
fukk up the very children they claimed they wanted in the first place
A lot of you nikkas on this forum should not be parents
The opinions you hold on many subjects prove that to me everyday
Ain’t no way :russ:

My wife and I were married for 9 years before having kids, so yes DINK (Dual Income No Kids) was an amazing long term experience. We were only limited by our work schedules. Having kids is amazing, but in a completely different way. Kids are a long term project. Some may find this a bad comparison, but its like a dude building a project car. The process is hard work and frustrating at times, but its a labor of love, and you can potentially get waaaaay more in return than you invest. My advice to folks to don't plan to have kids is to ball out and don't hold back. My wife and I said, we would have adjusted our career paths to live in different countries for extended periods of time.

Different strokes……….:manny:

But i will say. All the people that wait until they are 47 then scramble to a fertility clinc begging for a miracle, say the same shyt he’s sayin here.

It all sounds good till one day you wake up and it doesn’t sound good anymore. Happiness and satisfaction can be very fleeting.
