we all have nostalgia and personal anecdotes, but ultimately EA has the numbers :yeshrug:

I imagine games like this are expensive because of the licensing. and as others have pointed out, even when the money's there, these companies might still be picky about how their organization is portrayed

plus these games were more about individual players, so that can be complicated when certain players want more money and such

I kind of wish there was more of a market for unlicensed sports games

This is the same reason why Madden doesn't allow tattoos on created players, lack of celebrations, tame hit sticks and no suspensions
actually the reason why Tats not in madden is cause a tat artist actually sued madden and won. So now they require every player with tats to get a copyright release to put them in games

Odb and kap both have all they tats in game.

It’s the reason why NFL Blitz is not made anymore
blitz the league got released in 08 and didn’t sale good at all. Mainly cause it’s not nfl teams. Plus a lot of sports fans aren’t looking for Arcady play like we did growing up

I strongly disagree.

Especially when you see all the kids playing on the blacktop mode in NBA 2K. All EA would have to do is update the rosters, put the shyt in HD and add a create a player mode... and it would over

I definitely don’t see the kids wanting to play non simulation park after playing 2k. Because the actually competition aspect Will take a step back,

Plus don’t forget nba jam on fire came out a coupe years ago and made no noise at all.

Naw, I mean created players. There's no reason why our created players can't wear tattoos. I mean you can in FIFA :manny:

:patrice: U talking bout like rookies and stuff? What other created players are there in madden?

And being that they added in created draft classes to cfm it’s possible they added the ability to customize them

If this is the case, then EA could include the game as a mode in their Live games. Knocks out 2 birds with one stone in terms of licensing right?

Why would they compete with themselves when they already are doing a park mode to compete with 2k.

These games just simply ain’t gonna sell enough to justify remaking

Again the last nfl blitz tanked

Last nba Jams tanked.

Ea already shut big studio down

Really once ea introduced the dunk contest into live in the early 2000s it was pretty much the end of the big studio.

I definitely wish we had more sports games out tho. But I wouldn’t be interested in a blitz/streets/nba James type of game

 Ion play my park at all, but I know why it’s popular.

NBA street was a street ball arcade game with ready made players.

2k and live parks is built on progression and people being able to pay they way to the top. And 2k and live my park players are built around real simulation basketball and street was nothing like that :dead:

These nikkaz trying to live out they hoop dreams lol build a unstoppable player to play real ball. Street just was nothin like that tho

HOUS-e-
This would probably be the game that could give 2K a run for its money. Who would even be the correct people to get in contact with to even generate interest in having an NBA Street game??????
