the only reason i watch it, and i rarely watch TV at all, is so i can yell at my television screen. i honestly used to watch fareed zakaria with a case of beer until i found out he was a plagiarizing fool.

and you've got to admit their anchors do have the most intriguing names. overall, it's all sensationalized garbage though.

Seriously? :wtf:

I see people on here actually complaining about cnn as if it isn't pound for pound one of the most garbage sources for news. Is it cuz its a name brand or sumn? Are people not aware of better news sources? I gotta know, my remote would never go to cnn or msnbc unless it was an absolute must. Aside from that, I'd rather watch people report the news over people sensationalizing and trying to sell me controversy as if the news is somehow also suppose to be entertaining or something.

Why yall brehs be puttin up with :trash: news outlets? :mindblown:

With one of the older generation's biggest weaknesses being "close-mindedness" it is simply because they are Anti-Internet for everything and don't even want to try looking at sites like "Al Jazeera"

Nope. Not enough. Unless they gon have some bad ass strippers tellin me the latest on the talks in Geneva between Assad and the Syrian opposition while shakin they ass on the table then it ain't enough. Unless you tellin me that Cubana Lust gon be ass nekked tellin me about the unrest in Venezuela then this shyt means nothing. Real news got ugly bytches reporting, that's when I know I'm gettin a scoop.

CNN is not too bad, MSNBC/Fox News you know how they are leaning. Al Jazeera is not bad, NPR is good for the radio listen. You got to watch something for news

CNN is an awful news cycle that keeps people focused on the totally wrong shyt and is extremely obvious in its framing of its agenda, and i'd STILL watch it before MSNBC/FoxNews.

NPR, HuffPost (even though some of their writers suck), NY Times for any type of news. And i think everyone should at least watch their local news and know whats going on in their hoods even if it is absurd, scare tactics.

I'll admit to watching a lot of these programs in the past (NBC's Today Weekend, CNN, MSNBC, etc.) for the eye candy, until it got annoying. I definitely don't touch my local news as it's basically small town nonsense. Heck, it's gotten to where I can't even listen to NPR at times and can barely tolerate other sources (Al-Jazeera). Maybe I'm in need of a break...:mjlol::dead:
