Serious thread: Why in the fukk would you ever watch CNN?

I see people on here actually complaining about cnn as if it isn't pound for pound one of the most garbage sources for news. Is it cuz its a name brand or sumn? Are people not aware of better news sources? I gotta know, my remote would never go to cnn or msnbc unless it was an absolute must. Aside from that, I'd rather watch people report the news over people sensationalizing and trying to sell me controversy as if the news is somehow also suppose to be entertaining or something.

Why yall brehs be puttin up with news outlets?

I thought the usability of each regular news source was well documented. For any crisis, CNN is the go to source for most Americans. It's not called the CNN effect for shyts and giggles.

Because of the expected party coddling, from fox news and msnbc, CNN is expected to uphold the integrity of news reporting.

And because of this, everybody usually shyts on them the most because of this inflated expectation.

as I told my child a couple years back: its not that people hate the news. its that some people hate the agenda of the news. its getting harder and harder to read the newspaper without the reporter interjecting their political beliefs into it. I am a Democrat and I want just the facts,but its starting to get hard to read reuters.com/ and ap.org.
