I used to pick up them DJ Rod Lee mixtapes from Club Kings when I used to get visit there from 2008-2011. And pick up some Baltimore club 12"s too. I still fukk with Bmore/Jersey/Philly club heavy.

People think European cacs invented house and techno, that's how lost and diluted the genres have become to the Black American culural conscious. Also shows how ruthlessly hungry Eurocacs are at vulturing.
The scenes here and in the EU/UK are two distinctively different.blame the eurocacs for paying for it.
There the black architects and innovators of the music and culture are stil respected and still play massive festivals.

Other than movement in Detroit or the Chosen Few festival in Chicago you aint gonna sew black DJs like that playing. And they are...they getting underpaid for their performances while flavor of the month white djs that have only been producing for 4 years max make 10k+ a show.
The American idea of diversity is putting in White female Djs in gig slots to have equality so eventually these shpws become huge white people fests of soulless meaningless music.
Like the vegas scene is the US equivalent of the Ibiza scene in the EU. And thats all about trashy bougie pool parties at places like LIV, stupid kiddie festivals like EDC, and just cheese and generic garbage.
The realest it gets in America is DETROIT.
