And serena is respected for being an elite FEMALE athlete. She's at the top of her game on her side, but the exact same person in a man's body would barely crack the top 100.

Technically you're right, but that's why boxing journalist created the "pound for pound" qualifier. So we say "pound for pound the best in the world". Its still a qualifier like "best female athlete" tho
