He is just looking to monetize his unique views as a black person supporting trump, in some way. I try not to knock hustles, but his views are fukking disturbing and disgusting
His views are kind of stupid :francis: . Trump has no real policies or agenda he just has vague ideas

Getting rid of both the individual and employer mandate.
Do you care that this would implode the marketplace and make premiums skyrocket as insurers would increase prices exponentially as they predict millions will leave the market? Without the mandate there is no protection of preexisting conditions or essential health benefits like maternity care.

Just curious, what do you believe is the fix to our healthcare system? I'm not attacking. I'm genuinely curious because I want to have an actual discussion with you about it.

By the way, I'm not a corporatist on this. If it was up to me, the health insurance industry would not exist or be greatly reduced and blame them for us being in this situation in the first place. But I don't believe "market solutions" work in favor of consumers in this case. It's not like choosing between an iPhone or android.

this is already happening
It's not. Premium increases and a more dramatic word like skyrocket are different meanings. Premiums are increasing, like it was at a FASTER rate before ACA, but you tell insurers that millions are leaving the market, rates will increase much faster than we've seen with ACA and probably before it.

I personally hate were at the whim of insurance companies to be honest , and hopefully private insurance will die soon. But the republican bill would have made this problem worse and if you're being sincere about being worried about increasing premiums and declining care and not just being contrarian just for fun then this would have not addressed your concerns.

Can you, right now , tell me how the republican plan would have brought down premiums? Please? Like I said to meta, I'm not attacking you and am willing to ignore my other gripes with your postings and have a real discussion. Tell me how the republican plan would have helped you with your shrink issue, provide better coverage and made it cheaper. Just do it please.
