This game has a structured and flowing narrative right? Not like the souls and bloodborne games?

Honestly not sure.
I remember years ago cats tried to argue with me that "Bloodborne" had better writing than "The Witcher 3"....I was like
I love the game but "Bloodborne" is 20% coherent story, 80% Lovecraft references. Hopefully "Sekiro" has a story that makes sense without having to watch 45 minute break downs on Youtube.
Fred.
That’s what I can’t stand about those games, I played God of War on the hardest setting and fought the Valkyries but kept coming back because of the narrative and I was invested in the characters. With the soul games I am just not invested in the least.
Bruh, thats the best part of SoulsBorne games. You explore the environment to learn more of the story.
This started off as a tenchu game not a souls game. This doesn't seem to be anything like the Souls games. It seems like they used "Bloodborne" as a jumping off point and kinda spun it into a new game play system....kinda how "Bloodborne" wasn't exactly like Souls.

Our approach to storytelling has not changed. This time we do have the fixed protagonist. We feel like he creates the axes for the main core of the story. The characters, they revolve around him as well. This allows us to frame the story and the settings in a much simpler light than previously. So it’s going to be initially easier to understand and easier to relate to
Dark Souls’ creator on what sets Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice apart

me too but thats how japanese rpgs are made and they prefer it that way over there tooBreh I am playing a game I want a structured narrative as opposed to reading some scroll and using my imagination.

So then you read books, interestingYes I have in fact, key word being video game while the other is a book and intended to the read. Look I am not knocking the series it’s just not for me and if this game is remotely like that in regards to it’s story telling and lore I am out.
