Just finished my first playthrough, really good game, I know they’re pretty different but you can’t help but compare this to their other games.

What Sekiro does better than DS/BB

• Story
• Combat
• Abilities
• Soundtrack

What It Doesn't

• Bosses
• Enemy Variation
• Setting

The zones look great, but they’re not very varied outside your typical Japanese setting from area to area.

8.5/10

Soundtrack? :gucci:

Granted I'm still relatively early in the game but the music hasn't wow'ed me so far. I haven't heard anything on the level of these two:

One criticism I'll give this game is that it feels like a "boss rush" at times, and the bosses aren't particularly interesting or epic, safe for a handful...

The combat and traversal is incredible. Maybe that makes the PVE a bit easy. Nothing's stopping you from running and jumping through the areas in a matter of seconds until you hit a boss.

Not sure if it was a design choice but it's generally: platforming -> trash mobs -> boss -> more trash mobs -> mini boss -> boss

The Original Rec Room Gang
40~60fps. If you got a PC and you debating getting it on Sony then you pouring jelly on yourself.
Fixed for accuracy, 120hz mode on Xbox ftw!
The main reason I'm contemplating getting it on PS4 is because my PC won't let me run the game at 60fps AND record gameplay footage.

I might grab it on PC and just hook my MacBook up to the Elgado and do the game recording that way
stream it to your Xbox, mixer doesn't discriminate :whew:

It's supposed to be typical Japanese settings, you can't penalize a game for not having ultra fantasy environments :stopitslime:

I'm getting the vibe you haven't tried much stealth

I typically stealth every large enemy and always try and chop one bar off any boss I can.... Where did you come up with that gem?
