i platinumed ds3 snd bloodbourne but I'm. not gonna lie, I'm not enjoying this. too much focus on stealth and deflect/parry.
I'm at the horse boss and i don't feel like playing anymore
no satisfaction at all in beating any of the mini bosses so far. seems like plan is to get one deathstroke and then try you're luck for his 2nd life.
maybe I'm just tired and sleepy.

Saw her for the first time last night. She's next on my hit list.lady butterfly defeated
Don't be shy to get punked off an attempted parry. Hold block. Try to time it but if ur timing is to soon don't be shy to hold block every so briefly again and reattempt the parry. Game is forgiving for to early but not for at the exact moment the sword is hitting youI sort of figured out what I've been doing wrong. You need to have your guard up a lot more than I have been. I've been pretty much leaving myself open and pressing the block button for parries like one of the old Assassin Creed games. shyt has made the game a lot easier
Should play auto
2hour 19 minute mark is the sequence I kill her. I felt no remorse and assassinated her immediately. She no longer has a future on this planet pissing me off like thag. I spent well over an hour fighting this chick.
There are like 3 key attacks she does that you can strike her for solid damage if you can stay close to her and read her moves knowing when to parry or.dash forward . :whewv you'll get it, eventually if you study my True Patterns obviously.
Ahh yes this is a true challenge.
Dark queens not feeling this? Pathetic trash.
Thankfully?
Shadows Die Twice. .
genichiro ashina is harder than any dark souls boss ever created.
my strategy was to keep distance and run in to slash twice. very important that it is only twice. he will lay back for you while you run towards him and wait to block the two slashes. after he blocks the two slashes he will attack back. dont dodge or block. jump backwards. you create a lot more separation jumping away from this boss than you will dodging.
dont focus on his health bar. focus on his posture bar. you want him to block your two slashes over and over. eventually his posture bar will fill up from all the blocking he is doing. then he will stagger trigger a red dot one hit kill. when i killed him i was able to get hit only 3 or 4 times total doing this strategy. i had a lot of gourd drinks left. if you need to drink gourd get a lot of space and drink. he will shoot an arrow as you drink. dont dodge or block it. just jump to the side. more space.
his third phase is the same thing but he takes more damage because his armor is off. he will do a lightning attack that fills the whole screen. just jump and be in the air when the lightning hits you and mash the slash button in mid air. this will fill your sword with the lightning and send it back at him when you hit the ground. its intimidating but once you start beating his first two phases barely taking any damage the third phase will be easy for you.
